Attorney General Nominee Todd Blanche Testifies at Confirmation Hearing
July 15 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Attorney General nominee Todd Blanche will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee during a two day confirmation hearing beginning July 15, 2026. Senators are expected to examine Blanche’s record as Deputy Attorney General and Acting Attorney General, his independence from President Donald Trump, and his management of politically sensitive Justice Department matters.
For EpsteinWiki, the hearing is especially significant because Blanche oversaw the Justice Department’s release of Epstein related records and personally conducted a two day interview with convicted Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. Lawmakers are expected to question him about incomplete disclosures, improper redactions, the exposure of survivor information, Maxwell’s subsequent transfer to a minimum security prison, and whether the Justice Department has fully complied with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The hearing may produce testimony, written responses, exhibits, and commitments that become important additions to the public record.
