Key Takeaways

  • The original log confirms Catherine Finglas on the May 3, 1996 Dublin to Waterford leg.
  • The correct inspected source page is 41, rather than the derivative page pointer 42.
  • The later European legs cannot be attributed to her by carrying a passenger name forward.

The May 3 Entry in the Original Log

The inspected May 1996 log page includes flight 832, dated May 3, from Dublin to Waterford. Catherine Finglas is written in the remarks column alongside Elizabeth Johnson and entries rendered A. Teal, J. Teal and O. Teal. These are the names as recorded. The page places this Irish flight between the May 2 Teterboro to Dublin arrival and a separate May 3 Waterford to Paris leg.

The Waterford to Paris line records a different passenger set. Catherine Finglas must not be carried forward into later legs simply because the aircraft continued through Europe. Each line requires its own passenger reading.

The FBI Interview Supplies a Route, Not a Finglas Biography

Rodgers’ February 7, 2020 interview summary discusses flight 831 to Dublin and identifies Elizabeth Johnson in his recollection as associated with Johnson and Johnson. It then lists flight 832 from Dublin to Waterford and flight 833 from Waterford to Paris. It does not independently identify Catherine Finglas, describe her occupation or explain her reason for traveling.

This distinction matters. The log is the evidence for her recorded name. Rodgers’ later interview helps corroborate the sequence of routes. His comments about Johnson cannot be transferred to another named traveler.

A Page Reference Correction

The flight index’s provenance referred to page 42 through a derivative source. The actual May 3 line is on printed page 41 of EFTA02826077. Printed page 42 begins with May 30 and continues into June and August. This article uses the inspected original page rather than repeating the index’s page number.

Identity and Research Limits

The exact surname search produced no additional corpus match in this review. That does not negate a handwritten entry. It means the inspected record presently supports a narrowly defined flight appearance, not an employment history, a financial relationship or an allegation. The common Irish surname and geographic setting cannot establish a particular public identity.

Finglas is also a place name. A search result about a Dublin district is not evidence about this passenger. Related names in the same line remain separate identities unless another document establishes a relationship.

What Still Needs an Independent Source

A reliable identity bridge and the purpose of the Dublin to Waterford trip remain unresolved. This article does not infer that the traveler visited an Epstein property, accompanied later European journeys, knew about abuse or was an employee.
