EFTA00841630: 2018 Email Discussing Egg Freezing Hormones and Immigration Assistance With Jeffrey Epstein
Snapshot
EFTA00841630 is a one page email chain dated April 5 and 6, 2018. The record shows Jeffrey Epstein communicating with a correspondent whose identity is redacted about a migraine, hormone treatment for egg freezing, and immigration assistance.
The correspondent thanked Epstein for arranging contact with a person named Arda. According to the message, Arda advised that pursuing a green card was one possible path, although the correspondent remained uncertain about the immigration category for which they might qualify.
The broader archive strongly supports identifying Arda as immigration attorney Mehmet Arda Beskardes. However, EFTA00841630 gives only the name Arda and does not independently provide a surname.
The email proves that Epstein facilitated an immigration consultation and knew about the correspondent’s egg freezing treatment. It does not establish that he paid for the medical treatment, controlled the immigration application, or participated in any unlawful conduct connected to this particular correspondent.

Email Chain in Chronological Order
The earliest visible message was sent by Epstein on April 5, 2018. He asked:
“was arda help?”
On April 6, the redacted correspondent replied that they had experienced a migraine for two days and had been unable to take their usual medication after beginning hormone treatment. The correspondent wrote:
“I also started the egg freezing hormones.”
The same message thanked Epstein for arranging the consultation:
“Thank you for setting up Arda.”
The correspondent reported that Arda had confirmed that pursuing a green card was a possible option. The correspondent also said they were still trying to determine which eligibility category might apply.
Epstein then responded:
“Was the migraine brought on by hormones”
The displayed EFTA00841630 page ends with that question.
The Next Email Corrects the Migraine Assumption
The next message in the sequence appears in EFTA00841635. In that reply, the correspondent explained that the migraine began before the first hormone injection and coincided with the beginning of a menstrual period.
This follow up is important because EFTA00841630 does not prove that the hormone treatment caused the migraine. Epstein asked whether the hormones were responsible, but the correspondent’s next reply indicated that the migraine began before the first injection.
The existing article’s statement that the email directly links the migraine to hormone treatment is therefore too strong and should be removed.
Egg Freezing Discussion
The correspondent expressly described the medication as hormones for egg freezing. This establishes the stated purpose of the treatment more clearly than records that refer only to hormones or fertility procedures.
Egg freezing commonly involves medication intended to stimulate the ovaries before eggs are collected. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine explains that ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval are parts of assisted reproductive treatment.
The email does not identify:
- The physician or fertility clinic.
- The medication being used.
- Who prescribed the medication.
- Who paid for the treatment.
- Whether egg retrieval occurred.
- Whether any eggs were successfully retrieved or frozen.
- Epstein’s role beyond receiving the medical information.
The correspondent’s reference to egg freezing should not be converted into a claim that the treatment involved embryo creation, in vitro fertilization, surrogacy, donation, or an attempt to become pregnant. None of those details appears in EFTA00841630.
Immigration Assistance
The same message establishes that Epstein arranged contact between the correspondent and a person called Arda.
The correspondent said Arda had advised that a green card was a possible path but that the appropriate immigration category remained uncertain. The message therefore documents an immigration consultation, not an approved application or completed immigration process.
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services organizes lawful permanent residence applications through multiple eligibility categories. The correspondent’s uncertainty about which category might apply is consistent with an initial immigration consultation.
EFTA00841630 does not identify:
- The correspondent’s citizenship or existing immigration status.
- The immigration category being considered.
- Whether an application was prepared or filed.
- Whether Epstein paid Arda.
- Whether any information was submitted to immigration authorities.
- Whether the correspondent eventually obtained permanent residence.
- Whether the proposed immigration strategy was lawful or unlawful.
Who Was Arda?
EFTA00841630 provides only the name Arda. It does not include a surname, email address, law firm, or professional title.
The broader evidence strongly supports identifying this person as Mehmet Arda Beskardes, a New York immigration attorney whose communications with Epstein and people in Epstein’s network appear repeatedly in the released archive.
A House Oversight Committee report states that Beskardes worked closely with Epstein from 2013 through 2018 and helped arrange visas and other immigration documents for women in Epstein’s network. The committee reported that Epstein paid Beskardes for immigration work on 12 occasions between 2014 and 2018, totaling almost $50,000.
The committee’s findings make Beskardes the most strongly supported identification for the Arda referenced in this April 2018 email. The identification should nevertheless be presented as an evidence based conclusion from the broader archive, not as a name printed on EFTA00841630.
Lisa Tait’s investigation and the related EpsteinWiki sleuth report document Beskardes’s repeated immigration work for Epstein and others in his network.
The Correspondent Is Not Identified
The recipient’s name and email address are blacked out on the released page. The quoted earlier message also conceals the correspondent’s identity.
The connection to Arda does not establish that the correspondent was Karyna Shuliak. Separate records show that Karyna Shuliak had already received a green card in January 2015. The correspondent in EFTA00841630 was still considering whether a green card was an available path in April 2018.
The article should therefore describe the person as a redacted correspondent unless another independently verifiable record reveals the identity.
The fact that the correspondent discussed egg freezing also does not establish age, gender identity, relationship to Epstein, employment status, or survivor status.
Related Fertility Email Five Days Later
A separate email dated April 11, 2018 appears in EFTA00835392. In that record, a redacted correspondent tells Epstein that the hormones were unpleasant and that an egg retrieval procedure would probably occur during the coming weekend.
The timing and subject matter are consistent with the treatment described in EFTA00841630. The April 6 correspondent had started egg freezing hormones, while the April 11 correspondent anticipated egg retrieval.
These records may concern the same person and treatment cycle. However, the released pages redact the correspondent’s identity, so the connection cannot be treated as conclusively established from the public copies alone.

Epstein’s Confidentiality Footer
The email contains Epstein’s standard confidentiality notice. The footer states that the communication may be confidential, may be protected by attorney client privilege, and may contain inside information. It also describes the communication as the property of JEE.
This appears to be automatic boilerplate attached to Epstein’s email account. Its presence does not establish that this conversation was legally privileged, that Epstein was acting as an attorney, or that the email contained inside information.
The footer is still relevant because it shows how Epstein labeled and attempted to restrict the circulation of communications sent through the account.
What the Record Establishes
EFTA00841630 establishes that:
- Epstein communicated directly with a redacted correspondent in April 2018.
- The correspondent said they had begun hormone treatment for egg freezing.
- The correspondent reported experiencing a migraine and being unable to take another medication.
- Epstein asked whether the migraine was caused by the hormones.
- Epstein arranged contact with a person named Arda.
- Arda discussed a possible green card path with the correspondent.
- The correspondent remained uncertain about the appropriate immigration category.
- The correspondence combined private medical information with immigration assistance.
- A subsequent email said the migraine began before the first hormone injection.
Evidentiary Limits
The record does not establish:
- The identity of the correspondent.
- That the correspondent was an Epstein employee, partner, victim, or survivor.
- That Epstein paid for the egg freezing treatment.
- That Epstein selected the physician or clinic.
- That Epstein was an intended parent, donor, or participant in the treatment.
- That an egg retrieval occurred.
- That any eggs were frozen, fertilized, transferred, or used.
- That the migraine was caused by the hormone treatment.
- That the correspondent applied for or received a green card.
- That any immigration filing contained false information.
- That Arda or Epstein committed immigration fraud in this particular matter.
- That the correspondent in EFTA00841630 was the same person appearing in EFTA00835392.
Evidence Appearances
The exchange appears as a sequence of messages and duplicate archival copies:
- EFTA00841626 contains the correspondent’s April 6 message about the migraine, egg freezing hormones, Arda, and possible green card eligibility.
- EFTA00841630 contains Epstein’s question about whether the migraine was caused by hormones and includes the preceding messages.
- EFTA00841635 contains the correspondent’s next reply explaining that the migraine began before the first injection.
- EFTA02481652 is another archival copy of the correspondent’s April 6 message.
- EFTA02481960 is another archival copy of Epstein’s reply.
- EFTA02482260 is another archival copy of the correspondent’s follow up.
These identifiers represent separate appearances of the same developing email chain. They should not be counted as six independent incidents.
Why This Document Matters
EFTA00841630 documents Epstein operating as a point of connection between a redacted correspondent and someone providing immigration guidance. At the same time, the correspondent shared private information about reproductive treatment and medication.
The combination matters because it shows Epstein occupying more than one role in the exchange. He was receiving intimate medical information while also facilitating access to professional immigration assistance.
The broader archive and congressional findings show that immigration assistance was a recurring part of Epstein’s network. Immigration status can create dependence and vulnerability, particularly when housing, employment, money, legal assistance, or permission to remain in the country are controlled or influenced by the same people.
That broader concern does not prove coercion in this particular exchange. The identity, circumstances, and degree of independence of the redacted correspondent remain unknown.
