Epstein’s office records name Bob Gold in a December 2010 call instruction, an appointment arranged for January 2012 and a message forwarded in February 2012. A separate June 2014 email connects the name forms Robert Gold and Bob Gold within one correspondence chain. These records document scheduling and correspondence; they do not establish the purpose of the relationship or identify every earlier traveler bearing the same name.

Key Takeaways

  • A 2014 email directly connects the Robert Gold and Bob Gold name forms and identifies a law firm in its signature.
  • Six flight-log entries in 1993 and 1994 record Bob Gold; the handwritten route correction on April 12, 1993 differs from the index transcription.
  • Scheduled appointments and issued communications are distinct from proof that a meeting occurred.

2011 Appointment Email

EFTA02549174 is a message from Lesley Groff to Epstein, sent December 27, 2011, with the subject Bob Gold. Groff tells Epstein that Gold would come to see him on Wednesday, January 4, at 2:30. The note documents a scheduled appointment arranged through Epstein’s assistant. It does not disclose the meeting agenda, whether Gold arrived, or any transaction arising from a visit.

The document is office scheduling evidence, not proof of a particular business agreement. Visitor records, replies and calendar changes would be needed before treating the appointment as completed.

The February 2012 Follow Up

EFTA02550328 is another Lesley Groff email, dated February 14, 2012. It transmits a message attributed to Bob Gold that he was unavailable and wished to arrange a later meeting. The message explains a change in availability and conveys a cordial tone. It cannot establish whether the earlier January appointment occurred or whether any financial engagement existed.

This second communication matters because it shows a contact channel that continued beyond a single calendar entry. A reader should resist treating a friendly sign off as evidence of complicity or business partnership.

A December 2010 Calendar Entry

EFTA00307539, page 2 contains an 11:30 instruction to call Bob Gold under Friday, December 3, 2010. The three-page schedule runs from November 29 through December 5, 2010. This predates the 2011 and 2012 emails and shows that the same name recurs in office records; the schedule alone does not establish that every reference identifies the same person.

An instruction to call is not proof that a telephone conversation took place. Calendar entries reveal intentions and coordination, not necessarily completed actions.

Historical Identification and Flights

The six early flight entries discussed below use the spelling Bob Gold. The original log pages do not give that traveler’s full legal name, occupation or reason for travel. They do not independently establish a former-prosecutor biography or link the traveler to the Robert Gold who wrote the June 2014 email. EFTA02846460 and EFTA02826077 reproduce the same underlying log pages with different scan quality and redactions; they are not two independent accounts of the flights.

What the Evidence Establishes

The cited evidence establishes documentary references to Bob Gold in office schedules, email correspondence and flight logs. An email supports what was communicated and its printed metadata; a schedule records a plan; a pilot log records a stated travel leg. The 2014 email links Robert Gold and Bob Gold within that chain, but the records do not by themselves resolve identity across every period. None establishes wrongdoing by the person named.

A proper investigation separates what a source directly shows from what would require outside corroboration. Establishing actual attendance, a legal relationship, or identity across several documents requires more than a shared name.

Robert Gold and Bob Gold: A Direct Name Bridge

The June 26, 2014 email thread carries the sender name Robert Gold and a message signed Bob Gold. Its signature identifies Mishcon de Reya New York LLP. The exchange discusses an intended reunion and refers to working with Alan Dershowitz in Paris. This document connects the two forms of the name within one correspondence chain, rather than relying on an internet biography.

The message supports the professional affiliation written in its signature and the sender’s account of work in Paris. It does not establish the subject of that work, representation of Epstein in a particular matter or wrongdoing. The identity bridge should not be automatically extended to every early 1990s passenger entry without comparing the full source context.

Retrieved Flight Index Entries

Epstein Data’s flight finding aid returned 6 matching entries for this recorded spelling on October 14, 2026. The following table includes every returned entry in that search. It is a scoped search inventory, not a claim that every journey in the person’s life or every released record has been found.

The source column identifies records attached to the indexed flight. It does not assert that every attached record names this traveler. Some original sources preserve only a route, initials or redacted passengers, while a derivative compiler supplies a full name. Those distinctions must remain visible. Multiple source labels can refer to copies or transcriptions of one underlying record.

The inspected May 1994 log page independently confirms the May 26 Teterboro to Chicago Midway entry, flight 522, with JE and Bob Gold in the remarks. It does not establish that the 1994 traveler and the 2014 lawyer are the same person. The remaining early flight entries are retained as explicitly indexed records.

Questions and Unresolved Issues

  • Did the January 4 meeting occur and, if so, what records describe its purpose?
  • Do the 2010 through 2012 messages all identify the same Bob Gold?
  • Which original flight log pages support the 1990s travel entries in secondary indexes?
  • Is there a contemporaneous agreement or payment record that establishes a professional role?
