Maxwell Trial Exhibits Index: United States v. Ghislaine Maxwell
This page indexes the documentary, photographic, physical, financial, travel, school, communications, and stipulated evidence used in the federal criminal trial of Ghislaine Maxwell. The case was tried in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York as United States v. Ghislaine Maxwell, No. 1:20-cr-00330.
Some linked records concern the sexual abuse and exploitation of minors. Survivor-identifying information remains redacted or sealed where required. A person’s appearance in an exhibit does not, by itself, establish criminal conduct, knowledge of abuse, or participation in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.

How to Read This Index
The record uses several different exhibit statuses. They are not interchangeable.
| Term | Meaning in this index |
|---|---|
| Marked for identification | Assigned an exhibit number but not necessarily admitted into evidence |
| Received or admitted | Accepted by the court as trial evidence |
| Published | Displayed or read to the jury after admission |
| Public | Designated for public access in the government’s index or later public-release process |
| Sealed | Restricted from public access by court order |
Redacted, -R | Public or jury-use version with protected information removed |
Further redacted, -RR | A second redacted version, usually prepared to remove additional protected material |
The November 29 government index identifies proposed exhibits, descriptions, discovery Bates identifiers, and then-current public or sealed designations. It is not the final list of evidence received by the jury. The transcript indexes control the admission column on this page.
The source scan frequently OCRs sealed as “scaled.” That is an OCR error, not a separate legal status.
Government Exhibit Series

Publicly Accessible Exhibit Files
This section links directly to exhibit files located in the DOJ production as indexed by Epstein Data. The EFTA number is the identifier for the released copy. The original discovery Bates number, when known, appears in the government’s November 29 index.
Message Pads
| Exhibit | Description | Public copy |
|---|---|---|
| GX 1-A | Message pad cover | EFTA02825624 |
| GX 1 excerpts | Selected, redacted message pages | EFTA02825625 and following released files |
| GX 2-A | Message pad cover | EFTA02825632 |

| GX 3-A | Message pad cover | EFTA02825654 |
| GX 3 excerpts | Selected, redacted message pages | EFTA02825655 and following released files |
The physical books were admitted as GX 1, GX 2, and GX 3. The public record contains selected pages and later redacted versions, not necessarily a complete public facsimile of every physical pad.
Identity, Physical, and Contact Evidence
| Exhibit | Description | Public copy |
|---|---|---|
| GX 1004 | Stipulation authenticating birth certificates used to establish ages | EFTA02825699 |
| GX 51-A to 51-C | Photographs identifying the Florida massage table | EFTA02825846, EFTA02825847 |
| GX 52 | Contact book master exhibit, marked for identification | EFTA02825791 |

The court admitted selected contact-book pages, not the entire book as unrestricted proof of the conduct of every person listed. The December 9, 2021 ruling described the limited authentication and non-hearsay purposes for which the selected pages could be considered. See Dkt. 533, EFTA02836141.
Palm Beach Search, Floor Plans, and Photographs
| Exhibit group | Description | Public copies |

The public copies contain redactions protecting survivors and other private people. Nude artwork and other sensitive imagery appearing in search photographs is not evidence that an identifiable third party committed a crime.
Aircraft, Travel, and Relationship Photographs
| Exhibit group | Description | Public copies |
|---|---|---|
| GX 301 through 303 | Jet and jet-interior photographs | GX 302, EFTA02825790 and adjacent released files |

These photographs established identity, travel context, properties, and the long-running association between Maxwell and Epstein. A photograph with either person does not independently establish knowledge of or participation in abuse.
Electronic Records and Metadata
| Exhibit | Description | Public copy |
|---|---|---|
| GX 418 and 418-R | Palm Beach house-worker and maintenance contact information; public version redacted | EFTA02825827 |
| GX 418-B | Metadata associated with the house-worker document | EFTA02825826 |
| GX 420 | Palm Beach shampoo and massage-products list | EFTA02825837 |
| GX 420-B | Metadata associated with the products list | EFTA02825836 |

| GX 422-B | Metadata associated with the relationship document | EFTA02825840 |
| GX 424 | Email concerning Palm Beach household operations | EFTA02825842 |
Metadata evidence may help establish authorship, account use, dates, or computer provenance. It does not automatically prove that the named account holder personally typed every document attributed to an account.
Financial Records
| Exhibit | Description | Public copy |
|---|---|---|
| GX 501 | June 2007 JPMorgan statement for Air Ghislaine | EFTA02825848 |
| GX 502 | June 2007 JPMorgan statement for Ghislaine Maxwell | EFTA02825852 |
| GX 504 | September 2002 JPMorgan account activity | EFTA02825860 |
| GX 505 | October 1999 asset-account portfolio records | EFTA02825869 |
| GX 506 | Air Ghislaine account documents | Underlying Bates-matched production, EFTA01480291 |
The trial transcript also records GX 507 and GX 509 as received in evidence. They should remain listed even where a distinct public EFTA copy has not yet been confidently matched to the trial exhibit number.
Journal, Household, and Work Records
| Exhibit | Description | Public copy |
|---|---|---|
| GX 601 | Journal front cover | Bates-matched production, EFTA01301530 |
| GX 602 | Journal entry listed by the government but not recorded as received in the transcript index | Bates-matched production, EFTA01256423 |
| GX 603 | January 7, 1996 journal entry | EFTA02825886 |
| GX 603-A | Less-redacted public version of GX 603 | EFTA02825884 |
| GX 604 | January 25, 1996 journal entry | EFTA02825888 |
| GX 606 | Palm Beach household manual | EFTA02825890 |
| GX 608 | Additional work-related record admitted during Carolyn’s testimony | Admission record: Dkt. 753 transcript index |
The government’s November 29 index described GX 607 as a work-hours document. GX 608 was added or renumbered later and appears in the final admission record. The public source set should not merge GX 607 and GX 608 without the final admitted spreadsheet or the exhibit itself.
Flight and Place Records
| Exhibit | Description | Public copy |
|---|---|---|
| GX 662 | Flight logbook covering April 25, 1991 to January 19, 2006 | EFTA02825959 |
| GX 662-RR | Further-redacted flight-log version introduced by the defense | EFTA02826077 |
| GX 703 | Little Saint James photograph | EFTA02826196 |
| GX 704 | Epstein’s New York townhouse | EFTA02826197 |
| GX 706 | Zorro Ranch, New Mexico | EFTA02826199 |
| GX 721 | Palm Beach map | EFTA02826200 |
Flight logs establish that a name was recorded for a flight. They do not, without additional evidence, establish what a passenger knew, observed, or did at a destination.
Interlochen, FedEx, Mar-a-Lago, and New York Search Records
| Exhibit group | Description | Public copy or admission record |
|---|---|---|
| GX 741 | Interlochen donor and lodge records | EFTA02826201 |
| GX 745 | Interlochen cabin photograph | EFTA02826209 |
| GX 801 through 803 | FedEx invoices from October and December 2002, with public redacted versions | GX 801 production, EFTA02826210; admission record: Dkt. 757 |
| GX 823 and 823-R | Mar-a-Lago personnel records and redacted public version | Admission record: Dkt. 755 transcript index |
| GX 902-R through 935-R and related originals | New York residence search photographs | Admission record: Dkt. 751 at trial pages 1363 to 1386 |
Public Release of Message-Pad and Journal Exhibits
On December 19, 2021, the government and defense jointly identified a group of admitted exhibits that could be released publicly. The court so ordered the proposal the same day.
The approved message-pad releases were GX 1-B-R, 1-J-R, 1-K-R, 1-M-R, 1-O-R, 1-P-R; GX 2-C-R through 2-V-R as individually listed; GX 3-B-R through 3-KK-R as individually listed; and GX 296-RR. The parties also agreed that GX 1-C, 2-W, 3-DD, 3-EE, and 3-S no longer required sealing.
The government offered GX 603-A as a less-redacted public version of GX 603. GX 604-A was submitted under seal to protect third-party privacy. The defense was to provide a version of DX AF-1 using corresponding redactions. See Dkt. 559, EFTA02836282 and the so-ordered Dkt. 561, EFTA02836291.

What the Evidence Establishes
The exhibit record establishes that the jury received multiple, mutually corroborating categories of evidence rather than a single document or witness account. Those categories included age records, message pads, flight records, contemporaneous journal pages, property photographs, household documents, financial records, shipment records, school records, and witness-identification photographs.
The transcript indexes establish which exhibit numbers were received in evidence and the trial page at which admission occurred. The underlying exhibits establish only what appears in those records. Their meaning depended on witness testimony, stipulations, limiting instructions, authenticity rulings, and the jury’s evaluation of the whole trial record.
What the Evidence Does Not Establish
The exhibit index does not establish criminal conduct merely because a person’s name, address, photograph, telephone number, or flight appears in a record. It does not convert every proposed exhibit into admitted evidence. It does not make sealed survivor information appropriate for republication. It does not resolve disputed authorship where the court admitted a record for a narrower purpose.
The index also does not prove that every file later released under an EFTA number is identical to the version shown to the jury. Redactions, re-scanning, duplicate productions, OCR errors, and later public-release decisions can produce several versions of the same underlying record.
Evidence Limits and Verification Notes
- The November 29 exhibit index is a proposed-exhibit and access-status list, not the final admission ledger.
- Admission is verified from the court reporter’s transcript indexes and, where necessary, the court’s oral ruling in the transcript.
- “Public” in the government index describes access treatment. It does not necessarily mean that the exhibit was admitted.
- “Sealed” protects survivor identities and other private information. EpsteinWiki should link only to lawfully public, appropriately redacted versions.
- EFTA numbers identify DOJ-released copies. Original discovery identifiers use the
SDNY_GM_Bates prefix and are recorded in the government index. - The same exhibit may exist as an original,
-R,-RR, or-Aversion. These versions must not be silently substituted for one another. - The March 2025 government email says an admitted-exhibit spreadsheet existed and that the exhibit files did not themselves identify sealing status. The spreadsheet attachment is named in the email, but the public OCR record does not reproduce its cells. The official transcript indexes therefore remain the reproducible admission source used here.
- Some public exhibit scans contain handwriting, photographs, faint stamps, or poor OCR. Any quotation should be checked against the page image.
Questions We Still Need Answered
- Can the final file titled “US v. Maxwell Government Exhibit Index (admitted).xlsx” be recovered in a lawfully public, survivor-protective form?
- Which EFTA copies correspond exactly to GX 507, GX 509, GX 608, and every public redacted 900-series photograph?
- Were all exhibits approved for release in Dkt. 561 actually posted to the public docket in the approved form?
- Which exhibits were admitted for a limited purpose, and what limiting instruction accompanied each one?
- Can the final jury exhibit set be reconciled file-by-file against the court reporter’s indexes and the later DOJ production?
- Which proposed exhibits in the November 29 index were never offered or were excluded?
- Are the missing or ambiguous descriptions in the public OCR recoverable from a clearer docket copy without exposing protected information?
