Zorro Ranch Photographs: A Frame by Frame Index of the Insurance Survey, Sale Gallery and Epstein Files

Snapshot

Photographs of Zorro Ranch appear in insurance records, property listings, Epstein files, court exhibits and news coverage. The largest individually numbered sets identified here are the 2015 insurance survey, with 26 photographs in its body, and the 2021 sale gallery, with 28 numbered images.

This index links every individually numbered sale image and every page containing an insurance survey photograph. It also identifies additional contact sheets and image records. No public index can establish that these are every photograph ever taken at the ranch.

Key Takeaways

  • The insurance survey photographed the main house, other residences, stables, a lodge, a log cabin, a fire house and firefighting equipment.
  • The sale gallery shows a greenhouse, tennis court, multiple houses, a building marked “General Store,” stable interiors and a circular water feature.
  • The birthday contact sheet names 12 files and shows shooting, desert scenery, a gate and an indoor gathering. It does not identify whose birthday was celebrated.
  • Photographs of fire vehicles establish that the vehicles were present when photographed. They do not document an ambulance call or establish what prompted any emergency response.
  • No photograph indexed here establishes a laboratory or bunker.

The 2015 insurance survey

The AIG risk management report records a May 5, 2015 site visit. Its body contains 26 photographs on pages 6 through 19. A photograph on the cover appears to repeat an exterior view from the body and is not counted again.

The report’s own caption is in quotation marks where it could be read reliably. Other entries describe what is visible without assigning an unverified building name.

All 28 numbered photographs in the 2021 sale gallery

The property gallery was published July 8, 2021. Each numbered filename below opens its individual image. The descriptions are based on the visible image, since the gallery does not provide reliable individual captions. The publication date is not necessarily the date each photograph was taken.

Several sale photographs depict structures also present in the 2015 survey. A new photograph of the same building is a separate image, while a republication of the same exposure should be counted only once in a deduplicated catalogue.

The 12 image birthday contact sheet

The sheet titled “29th bday at Zorro” contains 12 thumbnails. The individual original JPEGs are named on the sheet, but the link for each row below leads to the contact sheet, not to a verified public copy of that original file. Faces are redacted in some indoor thumbnails.

Additional image records in the Epstein files

These linked records contain contact sheets, image previews or filenames associated with Zorro. Some also contain material from other locations. Their entries must be checked individually before being described as photographs taken at the ranch.

Linked recordImages or filenames to inspectLocation and counting caution
EFTA00004250, pages 63 and 64Zorro0 through Zorro9 appear among contact-sheet filenames. The sheet includes arid aerial images and later mountain or water scenery. Its ten Zorro named files are not ten independently verified ranch views.
EFTA00004348Zorro00.JPG through Zorro10.JPG appear in material labeled “marble(paris), zorro.”Eleven filenames can be identified, but the mixed project label does not prove the location of every frame.
EFTA00005284References include “JE Zorro w/Dogs,” “Zorro Aug 2002,” “Zorro ariel #1,” “Zorro ariel #2,” “Zorro Great Hall,” “Zorro picnic2–4,” “Zorro Final 2,” “Zorro.psd” and “ZORRO2.psd.”The binder mixes projects, previews and edited files. Different names may denote derivatives of the same exposure. The “DANNY HILLIS-ZORRO” folder label does not identify a person pictured at the ranch.
EFTA00004763, PDF page 22; printed EFTA00004784A sheet labeled “Jean Luc Zorro” contains 16 thumbnail positions, including two fully redacted positions. Its filenames run from DSC04492.JPG through DSC04509.JPG, with DSC04495.JPG and DSC04498.JPG absent from this sheet. The collection label does not identify a pictured person or establish the location of every exposure. PDF page 20 is a different sheet with a redacted heading suffix.
EFTA00004477, pages 49 through 51A group labeled “Hawaii, Zorro” includes IMG_1783 through IMG_1803 and IMG_1855 through IMG_1861.At least one frame shows coastline. The entire group cannot be assigned to the New Mexico ranch.
EFTA00003666Two men with a firearm near an adobe style exterior. The photograph’s date, identities and exact location need separate verification.
EFTA00028566An aerial image or derivative associated with the property. Its displayed orientation may be mirrored. It should not support a directional claim without comparison to the underlying image.

Court exhibits, wedding photographs and later coverage

The Giuffre related court exhibit material lists photographs involving a ranch gate, horseback scenes, outdoor structures and a ranch front. Exhibit numbers are valuable finding aids, but a list alone does not establish that each item is a distinct exposure or place every frame within the ranch boundary.

A 2017 wedding related investigative record refers to online photographs associated with a wedding at the property. It is a lead to a separate image set, not a complete numbered album in the record cited here.

The 2021 sale gallery and 2015 survey should be compared against news photographs before adding agency images to a unique exposure count. Later reporting can show changes to the property, but an image made after Epstein’s ownership belongs to a different time period.

What remains unverified

The linked sets support a complete index of the 26 survey photographs, all 28 numbered sale images and all 12 birthday sheet thumbnails. They do not support a claim that all Zorro Ranch photography has been recovered. Original files named on contact sheets, private albums, unreleased evidence and email attachments may contain further images.

The next evidentiary step is to compare the actual image content across the insurance survey, sale gallery and Zorro named contact sheets. A reliable master count needs separate fields for filename, original exposure, edited derivative, photographer, date, source and verified location.
