Beatrice Keul

Snapshot
Béatrice Keul, commonly identified in English-language reporting as Beatrice Keul, is a Swiss former beauty pageant contestant and banking professional who alleges that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her at New York’s Plaza Hotel during the 1993 Donald J. Trump American Dream Pageant. She separately alleges that Jeffrey Epstein approached her at the event, identified himself as a close friend of Trump, and repeatedly encouraged her to attend private gatherings at Mar-a-Lago.
Keul first attracted substantial international attention in October 2024 when her allegations appeared in British and Swiss reporting. Her account subsequently received attention from The New York Times, Swiss broadcasters, European investigative journalists, and American podcast interviewers.
Her allegations reach beyond the claimed encounter with Trump. Keul has described an environment in which powerful men approached beauty contestants, offered opportunities and financial benefits, and attempted to arrange private meetings. She believes that what she witnessed was part of a broader recruitment system connected to Epstein.
In late 2025 and throughout 2026, she added allegations concerning Epstein’s references to Prince Andrew, Swiss banking connections, intimidation following her public disclosures, and the possible participation of other prominent figures in facilitating access to women.
Investigative classification: Keul’s participation in the 1993 pageant is supported by reported photographs and contemporary travel materials examined by journalists. Her allegations against Trump, Epstein, and Ivana Trump are documented firsthand accounts, not adjudicated findings. Trump has denied the sexual misconduct allegations. No authenticated EFTA document specifically identifying Keul has been established for this article.

In The Independent’s October 2024 report, Keul was described as working for a bank in Zurich while pursuing modeling opportunities.
Swiss reporting establishes her participation in the Miss Switzerland competition. However, Swissinfo’s account identifies her as placing third, while The Independent and later American reports describe her as a runner-up or second-place contestant.
This inconsistency should be resolved through an original 1992 pageant results archive rather than by relying on repeated descriptions in secondary reporting.
Romanian publication Libertatea has also reported on Keul’s Romanian background. That history is relevant to identifying her public biography but is not itself evidence concerning Epstein.
1992: Beauty Competitions and the Path to the American Dream Pageant
Miss Switzerland
Keul competed in the 1992 Miss Switzerland competition while maintaining a professional career in banking. Her participation placed her within an international beauty pageant environment that included opportunities for advertising, fashion work, public appearances, and participation in overseas competitions.
She later competed at Miss Europe in Istanbul.
According to Keul, those events helped bring her to the attention of the organizers of Donald Trump’s 1993 American Dream Pageant.
The invitation
In her Swiss public television account, Keul explained that she received an invitation offering travel to the United States for the event.
She recalled that Trump’s status as a wealthy and famous businessman made the invitation appear prestigious. The pageant was presented as an international opportunity rather than an ordinary social invitation.
Keul has described believing that the journey might offer professional advancement and international exposure.
Expenses and travel arrangements
The October 2024 reporting described the trip as arranged with expenses covered.
Keul reported traveling from Europe to New York on November 14, 1993, and proceeding to Atlantic City for the competition.
The evidence questions concern who issued her travel ticket, which organization paid the costs, which staff coordinated the trip, and whether original payment or reservation records remain available.
Those details matter because verified logistics could help reconstruct the administrative structure of the 1993 event independently of later witness recollections.
November 1993: The Donald J. Trump American Dream Pageant
Atlantic City
The American Dream Pageant included international contestants who traveled to properties connected to Donald Trump.
The December 2025 New York Times investigation, republished by Der Standard, described contestants arriving from multiple countries for a week of activities involving Trump properties in Atlantic City and New York.
The reported events included formal pageant activities, appearances, meetings, and a gathering at the Plaza Hotel.
The Plaza Hotel luncheon
During a press luncheon at the Plaza, Keul said she met Trump in the presence of other contestants.
She remembered Trump recognizing her, speaking to her with apparent enthusiasm, and posing for a photograph.
The New York Times reported that Keul supplied photographs of documents corroborating her participation and a photograph showing her with Trump.
Those photographs support the broader event chronology. They do not independently establish what happened in the private suite she later described.
Keul’s Allegation of Sexual Assault by Donald Trump
The request for a private meeting
In the 2024 account reported by The Independent, Keul said a pageant employee approached her during the Plaza Hotel event and informed her that Trump wished to speak privately.
She said she followed the employee because she believed the conversation might concern her professional opportunities or the pageant.
The employee’s identity has not been independently established in the available reporting.
The alleged assault
Keul alleges that Trump initiated unwanted sexual contact almost immediately after she entered the suite.
She has consistently described him kissing her, touching her body without consent, and trying to lift her dress.
She said she resisted physically, shouted, and tried to stop him.
In Swiss public broadcasting coverage, Keul explained that her height and physical strength helped her resist.
She has described fearing that she might not be able to leave the hotel or return home safely.
The alleged warning
In The Daily Beast’s June 29, 2026 investigation, Keul alleged that Trump warned her against speaking about what had happened.
She characterized the warning as intimidating and said it influenced her decision to remain silent publicly for many years.
The alleged warning has not been independently established through an authenticated recording or contemporaneous written statement.
Official denial
Trump’s 2024 campaign rejected Keul’s allegations. Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt described the claims as false and politically motivated.
Subsequent White House statements also rejected allegations of criminal involvement with Epstein.
These denials are part of the historical record. No court judgment concerning Keul’s specific allegations has been established in the materials reviewed here.
Jeffrey Epstein’s Alleged Approach at the Pageant
Introducing himself as Trump’s friend
Keul says Jeffrey Epstein approached her during the Plaza Hotel event and introduced himself as a close friend of Donald Trump.
In the December 2025 New York Times investigation, she described Epstein telling her that Trump liked her and that private parties at Mar-a-Lago were available to her.
She said she did not understand why Epstein had access to the pageant gathering when he did not appear to be part of the formal organization.
The Mar-a-Lago invitation
According to Keul, Epstein repeatedly encouraged her to attend parties at Mar-a-Lago and promised to arrange flights, hotel accommodations, and other costs.
She said he presented himself as someone with the connections and resources to provide exclusive social access.
Keul interpreted this approach as recruitment rather than an ordinary invitation.
The reporting has not independently established a completed booking or confirmed that Keul attended any of the proposed events.
Financial promises
In interviews with American and European journalists, Keul recalled Epstein referring to his money and wealthy contacts while attempting to persuade her.
She described his behavior as adaptive: when one inducement failed, he would offer another.
That observation is relevant to her account of attempted recruitment. It does not, by itself, demonstrate that every person Epstein approached experienced sexual exploitation or trafficking.
The Prince Andrew Claim: A Potential Chronology Conflict
One of the most important additions to Keul’s publicly reported account concerns Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew.
The alleged 1993 offer
In coverage of her NZZ am Sonntag interview, Keul said Epstein offered to introduce her to Prince Andrew while trying to persuade her to enter his social circle.
She said Epstein suggested she was suitable for socializing with someone of Andrew’s standing.
The offer, as she remembers it, occurred during the 1993 pageant visit.
Andrew’s public dating of the relationship
During his November 2019 BBC Newsnight interview, Andrew said his relationship with Epstein began in 1999.
Keul’s allegation therefore creates a potential chronology question: was Epstein referring to Andrew in 1993 because they already knew each other, or was he invoking a famous name without an established personal relationship?
Keul’s account cannot answer that question alone.
What the evidence establishes
The available reporting establishes that Keul publicly alleged Epstein mentioned Andrew in connection with a proposed introduction in 1993.
It does not independently establish that Epstein and Andrew met before 1999, that Andrew authorized an introduction, or that Andrew knew about Keul.
A verified record from 1993 showing communication, shared attendance, travel, or another direct connection would materially strengthen the chronology.
Epstein’s References to Swiss Banks and Financial Connections
Keul’s banking career makes another element of her account noteworthy.
In Swiss reporting based on NZZ am Sonntag, she recalled Epstein discussing wealth held in Switzerland and referring to trips to Geneva.
She said Epstein presented his financial resources and international connections as reasons she should trust him or accept his invitations.
What this may show
The statements, if accurately recalled, show Epstein using claims about wealth and international banking as part of an attempt to impress Keul.
They are not documentary proof of an account at a specific bank.
UBS and Julius Baer
The same Swiss reporting discussed scrutiny of financial institutions including UBS and Julius Baer in connection with broader Epstein-related banking questions.
Those institutions should not be identified as holding particular funds referenced in Keul’s conversation without an authenticated financial record.
Nor does Keul’s professional history in banking establish that she personally handled Epstein’s accounts.
Research implications
The appropriate documentary questions concern Epstein’s banking relationships in the early 1990s, travel to Switzerland, relevant correspondence, and whether any contemporaneous records mention the banking claims Keul attributes to him.
Jill Harth and the 1993 Pageant Context
Another important historical source concerns Jill Harth, who filed civil allegations involving Trump and events associated with beauty pageants.
The New York Times investigation discussed Harth’s allegation that Trump sought access to a 17-year-old Czech contestant during the November 1993 pageant events.
This allegation should be treated as a separate claim. It does not establish that the unidentified contestant experienced sexual abuse or that Keul witnessed the particular conversation described in Harth’s complaint.
Nevertheless, the overlap in event, date, and location makes the Harth filings relevant to reconstructing the pageant’s environment and management.
Investigators should compare the original complaint, pageant schedules, witness statements, and contemporary press accounts. They should not attempt to identify the unnamed minor through speculative online research.
Pascal Claivaz: The Earlier Disclosure
Pascal Claivaz, a Swiss media professional and writer described as a friend of Keul, is a significant corroborative witness concerning the chronology of her allegations.
In October 2024 reporting, Claivaz said Keul had described the alleged Plaza Hotel encounter to him around 2004.
In December 2025, The New York Times separately reported speaking with Claivaz, who confirmed that recollection.
His account provides a reported disclosure history approximately two decades before Keul spoke publicly in 2024.
Evidentiary significance
A witness who recalls hearing an allegation before it became a public controversy may help establish that the account predates the later political environment.
That evidence does not independently establish that the alleged assault happened. It helps document when the allegation was shared.
Remaining questions
The original circumstances of the conversation, the precise language Keul used, whether Claivaz retained any contemporary notes, and whether anyone else was told around the same time remain unresolved in the public record examined here.
The Rediscovered 1993 Evidence
Keul has described retaining physical items from her American Dream Pageant trip and rediscovering them while preparing for a move.
The reported materials include the original invitation, travel documentation, photographs, and a commemorative plaque.
The New York Times reporting is particularly important because journalists reported receiving images of documents supporting her participation in the pageant and a photograph of Keul with Trump.
| Evidence item | Corroborative potential | Outstanding limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Original invitation | Event, organizer, invited contestant | Complete original and provenance not independently reviewed here |
| Airline ticket | Travel date, route, booking information | Issuer and payer require verification |
| Event plaque | Participation in the competition | Original inscription and event context require inspection |
| Photograph with Trump | Co-presence and interaction at the event | Does not prove alleged private conduct |
| Other pageant photographs | Possible attendee and location chronology | Each image requires authentication and dating |
| Claivaz testimony | Prior disclosure of allegation | Memory is not independent observation of assault |
| Recorded interviews | Preservation of Keul’s account over time | Statements need external corroboration where available |
For a documentary investigation, each item should be catalogued with its original holder, creation date when known, physical or digital format, publication history, and any modifications.
October 2024: The First Major Public Reports
Keul’s account received widespread attention shortly before the November 2024 American presidential election.
The Daily Mail-based reporting published by The Independent documented her description of the alleged assault, her prior beauty pageant experience, the preserved travel materials, and Claivaz’s account of an earlier disclosure.
The Swiss RTS interview separately recorded her account in Switzerland.
Keul rejected suggestions that she was acting on behalf of an American political party. She emphasized her Swiss nationality and stated that she was not connected to either major American party.
Her rejection of political motivation is her own statement. It does not substitute for independent evaluation of the underlying allegations.
December 2025: The New York Times Investigation
The New York Times investigation titled Don’s Best Friend examined the historical relationship between Trump and Epstein, including social events, communications, and interactions involving women.
Keul was identified as a contestant who attended the 1993 American Dream Pageant.
Journalists reported interviewing her directly, reviewing images of documents relating to the pageant, examining a photograph of Keul with Trump, and speaking to Pascal Claivaz.
The reporting also recorded her recollection that Epstein encouraged her to attend parties at Mar-a-Lago and mentioned powerful social connections.
This investigation substantially strengthens documentation of Keul’s public account because it includes reporting beyond a repetition of the initial tabloid interview.
It does not independently prove the alleged assault or establish every claim about Epstein’s recruitment practices.
2025 to 2026: Swiss Investigation and Prince Andrew Reporting
The NZZ am Sonntag reporting summarized by Blue News provided additional detail about Keul’s description of Epstein.
She characterized him as persistent and said he presented himself as having access to powerful men, international financial resources, and opportunities that could elevate her social status.
In particular, she said Epstein offered an introduction to Prince Andrew after she rejected his initial invitations.
Her account raises an unresolved question about the chronology of Epstein’s claimed relationship with Andrew. Investigators must distinguish what Epstein allegedly boasted about from independently established meetings between the two men.
February 2026: The NEWSGIRLS Interview
In NEWSGIRLS’ February 2026 episode, Keul returned to the 1993 pageant and the sequence of her alleged interactions with Trump and Epstein.
The interview is a direct recorded source for her recollections and her interpretation of the pageant environment.
It adds detail to the broader reporting but does not constitute a law enforcement finding.
June and July 2026: The Three-Part PunchUp Investigation
Part One: Alleged Assault, Silence, and Intimidation
In the June 29 investigation, Keul alleged that Trump warned her not to disclose the encounter.
She also described anonymous threats received after she became publicly identified.
One allegation concerned an AI-generated or electronically altered audio communication associated with the period surrounding Virginia Giuffre’s death.
The reported material requires original digital verification. No reliable attribution of the threatening communication to Trump or a specific Epstein associate was established by the reporting.
Part Two: Alleged Recruitment Through Pageants
In the July 1 investigation, Keul said she believed beauty competitions provided an environment where powerful men could approach women under the appearance of legitimate professional opportunity.
She alleged seeing contestants selected and directed toward private gatherings.
She also described another individual in the modeling industry whom she believed was participating in predatory conduct.
These assertions require separation into three categories: conduct Keul personally observed, intentions she inferred from the behavior, and wider conclusions about organized exploitation.
The existence of a legitimate pageant does not establish that its organizers knowingly permitted trafficking. Nor does a private invitation automatically establish criminal conduct.
Part Three: Allegations Involving Ivana Trump
In the July 3 investigation, Keul accused Ivana Trump of helping create access to young women within elite social settings.
She compared what she believed Ivana was doing to the recruitment role later established in Ghislaine Maxwell’s criminal case.
This allegation has not been independently corroborated by the reporting reviewed for this article.
Ivana Trump died in 2022 and was never charged with an Epstein-related offense. No authenticated document establishing her participation in criminal recruitment has been identified here.
The comparison to Maxwell must therefore be attributed specifically to Keul rather than presented as an established historical fact.
Additional Italian Reporting and European Allegations
In an extended Fanpage.it interview, Keul discussed the personal consequences of speaking publicly, the threats she said she received, and her belief that Epstein-related exploitation affected women in Europe.
She alleged that additional victims and relevant information might eventually emerge from Italy and other European countries.
These are forward-looking assertions by Keul. They do not establish the existence, identity, or experiences of particular unidentified victims.
Her description of recruitment
Keul said Epstein offered progressively more exclusive opportunities after she declined earlier invitations. She described the use of wealth, social prestige, famous acquaintances, and travel as inducements.
This is a relevant account of how she says she was approached. Whether those tactics were used systematically against other individuals requires their testimony or independent records.
Threats following Virginia Giuffre’s death
Keul also said that messages she interpreted as death threats increased after Virginia Giuffre died in April 2025.
She described concerns about personal safety and said public visibility helped her feel less isolated.
The death of Giuffre is an established event. The alleged threats directed toward Keul are separate matters. No evidence presented here identifies who sent them or proves a coordinated intimidation campaign.
July 2026: Scott Nathan Interview
The July 11, 2026 episode of The Bad Decisions Podcast featured Keul discussing her experience with Trump and Epstein in a long-form interview.
The episode description identifies the 1993 Plaza Hotel allegations, her account of Epstein’s approach, intimidation, and the broader social environment as central topics.
The interview is an additional primary record of Keul’s own account, although it is not independently corroborative proof of every claim it contains.
September 23, 2026: The Unheard Interview
The Unheard: True Crime in Their Own Words episode provided approximately one hour and fifty-one minutes of additional testimony.
The published episode description identifies several topics: Keul’s preserved documents, reported threats, the decisions surrounding public disclosure, other women who have spoken, and legal avenues under consideration.
It also states that she has never lived in the United States or held American citizenship.
The complete interview should be preserved as a recorded source. Specific new factual assertions within it require timestamped transcription and separate corroboration before they can be presented as independent findings.

Evidence Appearances and EFTA Verification
The Epstein Data archive is EpsteinWiki’s preferred reference for released EFTA evidence.
At present, no specific authenticated EFTA document has been identified as directly concerning Béatrice Keul.
That limitation must remain explicit. It would be misleading to assign an unrelated flight record, correspondence item, or redacted witness statement to Keul merely because the dates or surrounding circumstances appear similar.

Outstanding Investigative Questions
Who organized and financed the 1993 American Dream Pageant?
The sponsoring companies, contractors, event producers, and travel arrangers should be reconstructed from original records. Those records may help identify who selected contestants and controlled access to private events.
Who invited Keul to the Plaza Hotel suite?
The identity of the staff member described by Keul remains an important potential witness question.
What original photographs survive?
Full event contact sheets, press photographs, and authenticated originals could clarify attendance and the sequence of public events.
Was Epstein independently documented at the luncheon?
Keul’s account identifies him as present. A dated photograph, contemporaneous guest list, or unrelated witness account would offer independent corroboration.
Did Epstein and Prince Andrew have contact before 1999?
This remains an open documentary question. Keul’s account alone does not establish an earlier relationship.
What can be verified about the Swiss financial references?
Epstein’s alleged boasts should be compared with authenticated account, travel, and correspondence records without assuming that named Swiss banks were involved.
What was Ivana Trump’s actual role at the events Keul describes?
Verified event attendance and any relevant communications must be distinguished from allegations of recruitment or criminal knowledge.
Are the threats independently attributable?
Original messages and reliable technical provenance are necessary before assigning responsibility to any named person or organization.
What additional documents did Keul supply to interviewers?
The September 2026 podcast describes documentation and correspondence. Those items require an individualized inventory and verification.
Are any released EFTA documents directly connected to Keul?
There is presently no verified answer. An exhaustive search must distinguish a true absence of matching public records from incomplete indexing, alternate spellings, and materials still withheld or redacted.
Historical and Investigative Significance
Béatrice Keul’s testimony raises several separate questions about the social connections between Trump and Epstein during the early 1990s.
The first is her allegation of unwanted sexual contact by Trump during a private meeting at the Plaza Hotel. This remains a disputed allegation, although journalists have reported corroborating her attendance at the pageant and documenting a prior disclosure.
The second is her account of being approached by Epstein in the same environment. She alleges that he used wealth, travel, famous acquaintances, and access to exclusive gatherings as inducements.
The third concerns her claims about other pageant contestants and the possibility of broader recruitment. Those claims require investigation beyond her personal experience.
The fourth concerns Epstein’s alleged references to Prince Andrew and Swiss financial connections. Both produce testable historical questions, but neither can be treated as an established fact without corroborating documents.
Finally, Keul’s descriptions of threats after public disclosure warrant independent evidence preservation and careful distinction between the existence of threatening messages and the identities of those responsible.
The purpose of preserving her account is not to declare unresolved allegations proven. It is to identify what she has said, what journalists have independently confirmed, which people have denied allegations, what the documentary record establishes, and where further investigation remains necessary.
That standard protects the integrity of EpsteinWiki and the people whose experiences are being documented.
