Courtney Love and Jeffrey Epstein: The Address Book Entry She Said Made Her Skin Crawl

By Raph_PH – CourtLoveRoyalGeo040325 (49 of 54), CC BY 2.0, Link

Courtney Love did not wait for a publicist to sand the edges off her response.

When she learned that Jeffrey Epstein’s private address book contained her Beverly Hills address and two telephone numbers, she called it “creepy as fuck,” denied knowing or meeting him, and said she hoped he burned in the lowest level of hell.

Her reaction was blunt. The underlying evidence is more restrained.

Love’s contact information appears on page 33 of Epstein’s address book. No authenticated flight log reviewed for this article places her aboard Epstein’s aircraft. No released email shows direct correspondence. No verified calendar places her at an Epstein meeting. No survivor reviewed here has accused her of misconduct. A photograph circulated in 2026 as proof that she posed with Epstein was fabricated using artificial intelligence.

The unresolved question is not whether Epstein possessed Love’s contact information. He did. The question is how he obtained it and whether he ever used it.

Who Is Courtney Love?

Courtney Michelle Love is an American musician, actor, and cultural figure best known as the lead singer of Hole. She was married to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain from 1992 until his death in 1994.

Love moved through the Los Angeles, New York, London, fashion, film, music, and art worlds that also supplied Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell with social contacts.

That broad social overlap does not establish a relationship.

Epstein collected contact information for celebrities, publicists, business leaders, assistants, politicians, academics, models, journalists, and people connected to his established associates. Some entries represented close relationships. Others appear to have been professional leads, secondhand information, obsolete numbers, or contacts Epstein hoped to use.

Every entry requires its own evidence.

The Contact Book Receipt

Courtney Love’s entry appears on page 33 of Epstein’s address book. The entry reportedly contains:

  • Her name
  • Two telephone numbers
  • One Beverly Hills address

This establishes that Epstein’s records contained contact information associated with Love.

It does not establish:

  • Who supplied the information
  • When it was entered
  • Whether the numbers belonged directly to Love
  • Whether the numbers reached an assistant, manager, agent, or residence
  • Whether Epstein called either number
  • Whether Love answered
  • Whether Love gave the information to Epstein
  • Whether Love knew Epstein possessed it
  • Whether they ever met

The distinction is critical. An address book is evidence of recorded access, not automatic proof of a personal relationship.

Was Love’s Name Circled?

Online posts have claimed that Love’s name was circled in Epstein’s address book and that the marking carried a sinister meaning.

The reproduced entry should be examined directly before assigning significance to any handwritten mark. Even if the name or entry was circled, the public record has not established:

  • Who made the mark
  • When it was made
  • What the mark meant
  • Whether different marks reflected calls, corrections, priorities, witnesses, or obsolete information
  • Whether Epstein, an employee, investigator, or later document reviewer made it

A circle is not evidence that someone was an Epstein “client,” recruiter, victim, or participant in a criminal operation.

Any claim assigning a fixed criminal meaning to the notation requires a verified legend or testimony from the person who created it. No such explanatory record was located for this article.

How Epstein’s Address Book Became Public

The address book became public through Epstein’s former Palm Beach house manager, Alfredo Rodriguez.

Rodriguez retained a copy and later attempted to sell it. Federal authorities investigated him, and the book became part of subsequent court proceedings. Journalist Nick Bryant later obtained and helped publish it.

Vanity Fair’s account of the black book’s publication explains why the directory became an important investigative resource.

The book is valuable because it maps part of Epstein’s social and operational world. It is also easy to misuse.

It contains:

  • Close associates
  • Employees
  • Attorneys
  • Political figures
  • Business contacts
  • Celebrities
  • Hotels and restaurants
  • Assistants and office numbers
  • People whose degree of connection remains unknown

The book is not a verified list of people who committed crimes with Epstein.

Love’s Public Denial

In July 2020, Love responded publicly after her name in the address book attracted attention.

The Independent preserved her statement:

“Hey. About my name in Epstein’s address book, it’s creepy as fuck that I’m in that thing I agree.”

She continued:

“I didn’t know him, never met him, didn’t know who he was. Apparently he collected celebrity phone numbers. The end. Hope he burns in Avīci hell.”

Avīci is described in Buddhist traditions as the lowest or most severe hell.

Love therefore denied:

  • Knowing Epstein
  • Meeting Epstein
  • Knowing who he was
  • Having a relationship with him

She attributed the entry to Epstein collecting celebrity telephone numbers.

Her denial is a public statement, not independent proof. The presently available travel, communication, photographic, and survivor evidence does not contradict it.

Did Epstein Merely Collect Celebrity Numbers?

Epstein clearly used celebrity associations as social currency. His address books contained numerous actors, musicians, media figures, and public personalities.

Some celebrities in the books demonstrably knew him. Others denied any relationship. A contact entry cannot determine which category applies without additional evidence.

For Love, the additional record presently appears thin:

  • No confirmed flight
  • No direct email
  • No verified meeting
  • No property visit
  • No authenticated photograph
  • No financial transaction
  • No survivor allegation
  • No documented telephone exchange

The existence of two numbers and an address shows more than a random typed name. It still does not establish that Epstein successfully reached her.

Flight Logs

No authenticated Epstein flight record reviewed for this article lists Courtney Love as a passenger.

No verified log places her aboard an Epstein aircraft traveling to or from:

  • Teterboro
  • Palm Beach
  • St. Thomas
  • Little St. James
  • New Mexico
  • Paris
  • London
  • Los Angeles

The surviving flight records are incomplete. Absence from them cannot prove that no flight occurred.

It does mean that online claims placing Love aboard the so called Lolita Express require a specific manifest before they should be repeated.

No such manifest was identified.

Epstein’s Properties

No released visitor log, calendar, photograph, employee testimony, or survivor account reviewed here places Love at:

Her Beverly Hills address in Epstein’s directory does not establish a visit in either direction.

Emails, Calls, and Calendars

No direct email between Love and Epstein was located in the searchable releases reviewed for this article.

No released calendar reviewed here schedules a meeting between them.

No verified household message pad reviewed here records Love calling Epstein.

No publicly identified telephone bill establishes that Epstein called either number recorded under Love’s name.

This missing communication evidence is important. The address book proves Epstein possessed the information. Telephone records would be needed to demonstrate that he used it.

Photographs

No authenticated photograph reviewed for this article shows Love posing with Epstein or Maxwell.

That became especially important in February 2026, when a viral image claimed to show Love beside Epstein.

The image was false.

A published examination of the fabricated photograph traced it to a satirical social media account that openly described its material as fake.

The image also contained a SynthID watermark indicating that all or part of it had been created or edited using Google artificial intelligence tools.

The fabricated image is not an Epstein receipt. It should not be placed in the article as documentary evidence except when clearly labeled as disinformation.

The False Kurt Cobain Claim

The fabricated photograph was circulated with insinuations about Kurt Cobain’s death.

No credible evidence connects Epstein to Cobain’s death.

The false image cannot establish:

  • That Love knew Epstein
  • That Epstein knew Cobain
  • That Epstein participated in Cobain’s death
  • That Love’s address book entry has any connection to Cobain
  • That an Epstein related photograph of Love exists

This rumor combines an authentic address book entry with an artificial image and an unrelated death. It is a textbook example of misinformation built around one genuine receipt.

No Survivor Accusation

No identified Epstein survivor reviewed for this article has publicly accused Love of:

  • Recruiting girls or women
  • Participating in trafficking
  • Witnessing abuse
  • Facilitating sexual access
  • Visiting Epstein for sexual purposes
  • Helping Epstein conceal his crimes
  • Introducing Epstein to potential victims

Love has not been charged with an Epstein related offense.

No released court finding links her to Epstein’s trafficking operation.

Love’s History of Warning About Harvey Weinstein

In a 2005 red carpet interview, Love was asked what advice she would give young women moving to Hollywood.

She responded:

“If Harvey Weinstein invites you to a private party in the Four Seasons, don’t go.”

The warning later received renewed attention after numerous women accused Weinstein of sexual assault and harassment.

This does not prove anything about Love’s Epstein entry. It does provide context when evaluating viral claims that she was automatically part of Epstein’s criminal circle because he possessed her telephone numbers.

Love had publicly warned women about another powerful entertainment figure years before the broader Weinstein reporting broke.

That history does not make her incapable of knowing Epstein. It does make simplistic claims about her role especially dependent on actual receipts.

Could Maxwell Have Obtained the Information?

Maxwell moved through overlapping fashion, music, media, and celebrity circles. It is possible that she, an assistant, a publicist, an event organizer, or another social contact supplied Love’s information.

That remains a hypothesis.

The public evidence has not established:

  • Whether Maxwell knew Love
  • Whether Maxwell obtained the address
  • Whether an Epstein assistant entered it
  • Whether the information came from a professional directory
  • Whether it came from a party invitation or guest list
  • Whether the numbers were personal or professional

The address book itself does not identify the source.

What Is Verified

The available evidence supports the following conclusions:

  • Courtney Love appears in Epstein’s address book.
  • The entry is reported on page 33.
  • It contains two telephone numbers and a Beverly Hills address.
  • Love publicly denied knowing or meeting Epstein.
  • No verified Epstein flight record reviewed here lists Love.
  • No direct email was identified.
  • No verified calendar entry schedules a meeting.
  • No authenticated photograph shows Love with Epstein.
  • The image circulated in 2026 was fabricated.
  • No survivor reviewed here accused Love of Epstein related misconduct.
  • Love has not been charged with an Epstein related offense.

What Remains Unknown

  1. Who gave Epstein Love’s contact information?
  2. When was the entry created?
  3. Were the numbers personal, residential, management, agency, or publicist contacts?
  4. Were the numbers current when Epstein’s staff recorded them?
  5. Did Epstein call either number?
  6. Did an assistant or representative answer?
  7. Did Love know anyone in Epstein’s immediate staff?
  8. Did Maxwell possess the same information?
  9. Was Love included on a guest list for an event Epstein attended?
  10. Did Epstein ever claim to know Love when speaking to survivors or employees?
  11. Are there unreleased telephone bills or message pads containing her name?
  12. What did any circle or other marking on the entry mean, and who made it?
  13. Are online claims about additional Love references merely repetitions of the same contact page?

These questions justify continued record review. They do not justify inventing a relationship.

Why the Evidence Is Easy to Distort

The Courtney Love record contains everything needed for viral misinformation:

  • A famous musician
  • Epstein’s black book
  • A handwritten notation
  • Two telephone numbers
  • A controversial celebrity history
  • An artificial photograph
  • A decades old conspiracy surrounding Cobain’s death

Only one part is firmly documented: Epstein possessed contact information associated with Love.

The rest must be tested separately.

Combining an authentic directory entry with a fabricated photograph does not strengthen the claim. It contaminates the evidence.

Conclusion

Courtney Love’s name belongs in the Epstein files because her Beverly Hills address and two telephone numbers appear in his contact book.

That is a real receipt.

Love said she did not know Epstein, never met him, and did not know who he was. No released flight, direct email, calendar, property record, survivor allegation, financial transaction, or authenticated photograph reviewed for this article contradicts that denial.

The contact information remains unexplained. Epstein may have obtained it through a publicist, assistant, mutual contact, professional directory, invitation list, or an encounter that left no surviving record. The files do not currently resolve which explanation is correct.

The 2026 photograph offered no answer because it was fake.

The defensible conclusion is narrow: Epstein recorded ways to reach Courtney Love, but the available evidence does not establish that he reached her, met her, or involved her in his crimes.
