Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein: Documented Connections and Survivor Allegations
Snapshot
Harvey Weinstein is a former Hollywood producer and convicted sex offender whose name appears in records connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
The available records include an entry in Epstein’s address book, shared social connections, references in Epstein’s correspondence, and federal investigative documents recording allegations from women who said they encountered Weinstein through Epstein’s network.
One woman reportedly told investigators that Epstein directed her to massage Weinstein. She alleged that Weinstein demanded that she remove her shirt and threatened to have other women force her when she refused.
Other records summarize separate allegations involving massages, unwanted sexual contact, a job offer, and an attempt to follow a woman into her shower.
Weinstein denies the Epstein related allegations. His representative has emphasized that the records preserve allegations rather than factual findings.
Weinstein was never charged with a crime arising from his connection to Epstein. His criminal convictions in New York and California concern separate conduct and different survivors.
Who Is Harvey Weinstein?
Harvey Weinstein was born in 1952. He and his brother Bob Weinstein founded Miramax, which became one of the most influential film companies in the United States.
Miramax produced or distributed films including Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, Shakespeare in Love, The English Patient, and The Crying Game.
The brothers later established The Weinstein Company.
Weinstein used his position in the entertainment industry to develop extensive relationships with actors, filmmakers, politicians, journalists, philanthropists, and wealthy investors.
His career collapsed in 2017 after investigations by The New York Times and The New Yorker documented allegations of sexual harassment, coercion, and assault from numerous women.
Those disclosures became a major catalyst for the global MeToo movement.
Weinstein in Epstein’s Address Book
Harvey Weinstein was listed in an address book associated with Epstein.
An address book entry establishes that Epstein or his staff possessed contact information associated with Weinstein. It does not establish the nature or frequency of communication between them.
It also does not prove that Weinstein visited Epstein’s properties or participated in Epstein’s crimes.
The currently indexed flight records do not identify Weinstein as a passenger aboard Epstein’s aircraft.

The Federal Prominent Names Document
One of the most important records is an internal federal document titled “Prominent Names.”
The document compiles allegations involving several recognizable people whose names appeared during the Epstein investigation. Harvey Weinstein is associated with three separate summaries.
According to the document, one woman stated that she gave Weinstein a massage during which he allegedly fondled her, masturbated, and offered additional payment for further sexual activity.
A second woman reportedly said Weinstein came to her apartment, offered her a job, and attempted to follow her into the shower.
A third woman allegedly stated that Epstein instructed her to give Weinstein a massage. She said Weinstein demanded that she remove her shirt. When she refused, Weinstein allegedly threatened to bring women who would force her to comply.

These summaries document what women allegedly reported. They are not findings that investigators proved the allegations.
Allegation That Epstein Directed a Woman to Weinstein
The third allegation is the clearest claimed connection between Epstein and Weinstein.
The woman reportedly stated that Epstein told her to give Weinstein a massage. During that encounter, Weinstein allegedly instructed her to remove her shirt.
She refused.
According to the federal summary, Weinstein then threatened to have other women force her to remove it.
This allegation is important because it does more than place Weinstein’s name in an address book or social directory. It alleges that Epstein personally directed a woman to provide Weinstein with a massage.
The public document does not identify the woman. It does not clearly establish her age at the time of the alleged incident.
It also does not disclose what investigative steps, if any, agents took to corroborate her account.

The Massage and Payment Allegation
A separate woman allegedly told investigators that she massaged Weinstein.
According to the federal summary, Weinstein fondled her, masturbated, and offered to pay additional money if he could perform another sexual act involving her.
The available summary does not explain whether Epstein arranged this massage. It also does not identify the location, date, or age of the woman.
The allegation appears in an internal investigative compilation. It should not be treated as an adjudicated finding.

The Apartment and Job Offer Allegation
Another woman reportedly stated that Weinstein visited her apartment and offered her a job.
She alleged that he then attempted to follow her into the shower.
The summary does not clearly state whether Epstein arranged the meeting or was present. Its placement in an Epstein investigative document indicates that the information entered the federal review, but that alone does not establish how the woman was connected to Epstein.

What the Federal Document Represents
The Prominent Names document appears to be an investigative briefing or presentation created from information collected during federal inquiries.
It is not a criminal indictment.
It is not a judicial opinion.
It is not a verdict.
The entries summarize allegations attributed to victims, witnesses, or investigative sources. The document does not provide a complete credibility assessment or explain whether each allegation was corroborated.
The inclusion of a name means investigators preserved or summarized information about that person. It does not prove guilt.
At the same time, these records should not be dismissed as ordinary name mentions. The Weinstein entries preserve specific allegations of sexual misconduct, including one account in which Epstein allegedly arranged the encounter.
The 2021 Prosecution Memorandum
Reporting on the released files describes a prosecution memorandum dated January 26, 2021.
According to The Guardian’s examination of the Epstein files, a woman said Epstein directed her to perform a sex act on one of his friends. Her lawyers later showed her a photograph of Weinstein, and she reportedly identified him as the man.
The memorandum was prepared during the federal prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell.
The public record does not establish that prosecutors charged Weinstein, presented the allegation to a jury, or reached a formal conclusion about its credibility.
Weinstein was never charged in connection with the alleged encounter.

Weinstein’s Response
Weinstein has denied the Epstein related allegations.
His representative told ITV News that the cited material was an unverified allegation rather than a finding or sworn testimony.
The representative also argued that an allegation appearing in an investigative intake document does not make it corroborated or true.
In response to separate reporting about the prosecution memorandum, Weinstein’s representative said the document recorded allegations rather than findings. The representative emphasized that Weinstein was never charged or prosecuted for conduct connected to Epstein.
Those denials and evidentiary limitations are essential to an accurate presentation of the record.
Peggy Siegal as a Social Bridge
Publicist Peggy Siegal operated within the social networks surrounding both Epstein and Weinstein.
Records show Siegal communicating with Epstein about Weinstein’s film campaigns and entertainment industry interests.
During the campaign for The King’s Speech, Siegal asked Epstein to contact Prince Andrew on behalf of herself and Weinstein. The inquiry concerned whether Queen Elizabeth II had seen the film.

Another record concerns information that Siegal gathered about George Lucas and forwarded to Weinstein while discussing an awards campaign:

These records document overlapping professional and social networks. They do not establish that Weinstein participated in Epstein’s criminal operation.
The St. Barths Social Directory
A December 2010 document concerns a guest and contact list for the holiday social season in St. Barths.
The record states that the list had been sent to Harvey. The surrounding evidence identifies this as a reference to Weinstein.
The directory documented the movements, accommodations, and contact information of wealthy and influential people visiting the island.

The document illustrates how publicists and social intermediaries circulated information through the same elite networks in which both Epstein and Weinstein operated.
It does not establish that Epstein and Weinstein traveled together or attended the same gathering.
The New York Observer Anniversary Invitation
A 2013 invitation for the twenty fifth anniversary of The New York Observer lists Harvey Weinstein among numerous prominent invited figures.
The same invitation also names people associated with Epstein’s broader social environment, including Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, and Ronald Perelman.

An appearance on a large event invitation does not establish a personal relationship with Epstein. The record is useful for documenting overlapping social circles.
Competing Bids for New York Magazine
Epstein and Weinstein were both reported bidders for New York magazine in 2003.
Other bidders included Donny Deutsch, Nelson Peltz, Mortimer Zuckerman, and Bruce Wasserstein. Wasserstein ultimately purchased the publication.

The fact that Epstein and Weinstein pursued the same business acquisition documents overlapping commercial interests. It does not establish that they submitted a joint bid or worked together.
Epstein and Michael Wolff Discuss Weinstein
Epstein’s communications with journalist Michael Wolff contain references to Weinstein during discussions about media scandals and reputation management.
In January 2018, Wolff and Epstein discussed the escalating controversy surrounding Woody Allen. Weinstein was referenced while they considered possible responses to media scrutiny.
The conversation occurred after the public exposure of Weinstein’s alleged misconduct and after Epstein’s own conviction.
These messages do not show Weinstein participating in the conversation. They show Epstein and Wolff using Weinstein’s public collapse as a reference point while discussing another reputation crisis.

Weinstein’s Criminal Cases Are Separate From Epstein
Weinstein’s criminal convictions did not arise from the Epstein investigation.
A New York jury convicted Weinstein in 2020 of criminal sexual conduct and rape. In 2024, the New York Court of Appeals overturned those convictions because it found that the trial court improperly admitted testimony concerning allegations that were not part of the charged offenses.
The reversal did not declare that the accusers had lied or find Weinstein factually innocent. It ordered a new trial because of legal errors affecting the original proceeding.
In 2025, a new Manhattan jury convicted Weinstein of a criminal sexual act against Miriam Haley. The jury acquitted him of a charge involving Kaja Sokola and could not reach a verdict on the allegation involving Jessica Mann.
A further trial involving Mann ended with another deadlocked jury in May 2026. Prosecutors dismissed that remaining charge in June 2026 after Mann said she could not endure another trial.
The 2025 conviction involving Haley remains in place. Weinstein is awaiting sentencing in that case.
California Conviction
A California jury convicted Weinstein in 2022 of rape and two sexual assault offenses involving an Italian actor identified during the trial as Jane Doe 1.
He received a 16 year sentence.
In June 2026, a California appellate court upheld the convictions but ordered resentencing. The court determined that the original sentencing process had improperly relied upon Weinstein’s former New York convictions, which were later overturned.
The appellate ruling left the California guilty verdicts intact.

Current Status
As of August 20, 2026, Weinstein remains incarcerated.
He stands convicted of a sexual felony in New York and rape and sexual assault offenses in California.
He is awaiting sentencing for the New York conviction involving Miriam Haley. He must also be resentenced in California following the appellate court’s ruling.
Weinstein has maintained that his sexual encounters were consensual and continues to dispute the criminal convictions and other allegations against him.
His established criminal convictions must remain separate from the unadjudicated allegations contained in the Epstein records.

What Is Not Established?
The public evidence does not establish that Weinstein flew aboard Epstein’s aircraft.
It does not establish that Weinstein visited Little Saint James, Zorro Ranch, or Epstein’s other properties.
It does not prove that Weinstein was a formal participant in Epstein’s trafficking organization.
The released records do not reveal whether investigators fully corroborated the Epstein related allegations.
No court has adjudicated those allegations against Weinstein.
Key Takeaways
The most important evidence is not Weinstein’s presence in an address book. It is the federal record summarizing a woman’s allegation that Epstein personally directed her to massage Weinstein.
The Prominent Names document records three separate allegations. However, it does not provide complete dates, locations, identities, corroboration analyses, or investigative conclusions.
Weinstein’s established pattern of sexual offending is documented through convictions in New York and California. Those convictions cannot be used as proof that every additional allegation is true.
Weinstein denies the Epstein related claims and was never charged for them.
The evidence supports documenting Weinstein as part of Epstein’s wider network footprint while clearly distinguishing proven crimes from unresolved allegations.
