Jeffrey Epstein’s connections to Brazil included models, financial payments, international travel, property ownership, and requests for introductions to women.
One person appears repeatedly in those records: Brazilian model and fashion entrepreneur Ana Maria Gomes Macedo.
Public records show that Epstein purchased travel for Macedo, sent her money and packages, communicated with her for years, and sold her an apartment in São Paulo. Their correspondence continued after Epstein became a registered sex offender.
These records establish a sustained personal and financial relationship. They do not, by themselves, prove that Macedo participated in Epstein’s crimes.

Ana Maria Gomes Macedo is a Brazilian model, designer, and fashion entrepreneur. She reportedly joined Elite Model Management in 2002.

Brazilian property reporting states that Epstein purchased an apartment in Vila Olímpia, an affluent area of São Paulo, on May 5, 2003.
The apartment reportedly measured approximately 93 square meters. Epstein paid R$245,000 for it.
The acquisition gave Epstein a documented property interest in Brazil. It also occurred while he maintained relationships with people in the international modeling industry.

These records show that Epstein was sending items and money to Macedo shortly after buying the São Paulo apartment. They do not reveal the purpose of the package or payment.
Epstein Sold the Apartment to Macedo
On August 1, 2005, Epstein sold the São Paulo apartment to Macedo for R$179,300.
That price was R$65,700 below the amount Epstein reportedly paid in 2003. It represented a reduction of approximately 26.8 percent.
Brazilian reporting stated that Macedo continued to own the property as of February 2026.
The discounted transfer is relevant because Epstein already had a documented financial relationship with Macedo. However, no public record reviewed for this report proves that Epstein retained ownership, control, or access after the sale.

Macedo’s listing establishes an association with the address. It does not establish how long she stayed there or whether she witnessed or participated in criminal activity.
The address is important because it repeatedly appears in reporting about Epstein’s housing arrangements and international modeling contacts.
Macedo Called Epstein Her Boss
According to reporting based on released emails, Macedo stored or described Epstein using the Portuguese word “patrão,” meaning “boss.”
That description may indicate employment, financial dependence, personal hierarchy, or an informal nickname. The available record does not resolve which meaning applied.
Epstein also asked Macedo whether she had friends in Paris. In another message, he stated that he was waiting for a photograph.
Those messages deserve scrutiny because Epstein regularly asked associates for introductions and photographs. However, the surviving fragments do not identify every person discussed or establish the purpose of each request.
The Unidentified Lapo and Ingrid
One email attributed to Epstein stated that he had called someone named Lapo and wanted someone named Ingrid to see him the following day.
The original article suggests that Lapo might have been Italian businessman Lapo Elkann. The message itself does not provide a surname.
There is not enough information in the cited exchange to confirm the identities of either Lapo or Ingrid. Treating those identifications as established would go beyond the evidence.
Contact Continued After Epstein’s Conviction
Epstein pleaded guilty to Florida offenses involving a minor in 2008. He served a jail sentence under a controversial work release arrangement and was required to register as a sex offender.
Macedo remained in contact with him afterward.
On July 1, 2010, she sent Epstein an affectionate message welcoming him back. She wrote that she would never forget what he had done for her and expressed love for him as a friend.

On November 23, 2011, Macedo asked Epstein whether he could purchase dresses “for the girls.” She explained that she needed money to invest in a new showroom.
The wording is noteworthy, but the message does not identify the girls. It does not establish their ages, their relationship to Epstein, or whether the phrase referred to customers, employees, models, friends, or other people.
What the message does establish is that Macedo still felt comfortable requesting financial help from Epstein six years after acquiring his São Paulo apartment.
The Angola and Prince Edward Overlap
Brazilian reporting and social media images reportedly place Macedo at a November 2024 event at Windsor Castle with Prince Edward and Tchizé dos Santos.
Tchizé dos Santos is a daughter of former Angolan president José Eduardo dos Santos. Her sister is businesswoman Isabel dos Santos.
Separately, Epstein’s correspondence contains a discussion involving Isabel dos Santos and Brazilian businessman Eike Batista.

These records show overlapping names within international social and business circles. They do not prove that Prince Edward, Tchizé dos Santos, Isabel dos Santos, or Eike Batista participated in Epstein’s criminal conduct.
A social encounter or documentary mention is not evidence of complicity.
Amanda Ungaro’s Allegation
Amanda Ungaro told Bekah Day that she recognized Macedo and that Paolo Zampolli knew her.
Ungaro also alleged that Macedo introduced women to Brazilian businessman Olacyr de Moraes. A photograph posted on Macedo’s social media reportedly places Moraes within her social circle in 2010.
The photograph can support the claim that Macedo and Moraes moved within the same social environment. It cannot prove that she recruited or introduced women to him.
Ungaro’s statement remains an allegation unless additional witnesses, communications, financial records, or contemporaneous documents corroborate it.

The Brazilian Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office opened a confidential proceeding in February 2026 concerning possible attempts to recruit Brazilian women for Epstein.
The proceeding followed reporting about correspondence in which a Brazilian contact discussed bringing a woman from Natal to the United States. Epstein requested photographs of the woman wearing lingerie or a bikini.
The published messages did not establish the woman’s age or confirm that the proposed trip occurred.
