Victoria Drake is the publicly named plaintiff in a federal civil lawsuit accusing Paolo Zampolli of drugging and raping her at his Manhattan townhouse in October 2023. Zampolli is a former modeling agent, a longtime associate of Donald Trump, a United States special envoy, and a documented figure in the released Jeffrey Epstein records.
Drake does not allege that Jeffrey Epstein assaulted her. The alleged incident occurred four years after Epstein’s death. Her relevance to EpsteinWiki comes from the defendant, the environment described in her complaint, and her attorneys’ decision to cite three Epstein records as evidence of prior warnings and concerning descriptions involving Zampolli.
The complaint states that Drake filed an NYPD report the day after the alleged assault, traveled by ambulance to a hospital, underwent drug facilitated sexual assault and sexual assault forensic examinations, and received diagnoses documenting bruising and an abrasion. Those allegations and medical descriptions appear in a civil pleading. They have not yet been tested through discovery, cross examination, or trial.
As of September 22, 2026, Zampolli had not filed an answer visible in the public docket sources reviewed for this article. No court has found him liable in this case. The complaint records Drake’s allegations, not a judicial determination.
Content Note
This article discusses an allegation of drug facilitated rape, loss of consciousness, physical injury, and the aftermath of sexual violence. It avoids unnecessary graphic detail while preserving the evidence needed to understand the case.
Who Is Victoria Drake?
The public court record identifies Victoria Drake as a woman residing in Cook County, Illinois. Her complaint says she began attending occasional gatherings at Mar a Lago in 2019 as the guest of a boyfriend whose father belonged to the club. It says those visits gave her access to prominent political and social contacts.
Drake later publicly identified that former boyfriend as Miami investment banker Shane Campbell. The complaint itself does not name Campbell. People reported in May 2026 that Bethenny Frankel had publicly confirmed a relationship with Campbell after the two were first linked in April 2026.
The connection is relevant because the complaint says Drake and Zampolli later recognized one another from Mar a Lago. It helps identify the personal relationship through which Drake says she entered that social environment. It does not establish that Campbell introduced Drake directly to Zampolli, knew about the alleged assault, enabled it, or participated in any wrongdoing.
The complaint does not present Drake as an Epstein associate, model, employee of Zampolli, or member of Mar a Lago. It expressly says she was never a Mar a Lago member and visited only as a guest.
EpsteinWiki is not reproducing unrelated addresses, employment history, family information, or social media material. Those details are unnecessary to understand her claim and could expose a person alleging sexual violence to additional harassment.
No reviewed EFTA record names Victoria Drake in connection with Jeffrey Epstein. Her inclusion on EpsteinWiki should not be interpreted as evidence that she met Epstein, participated in his social network, or was harmed by him.
Who Is Paolo Zampolli?
Paolo Zampolli is an Italian born businessman and former modeling agent who founded ID Model Management. He has said that he introduced Donald Trump to Melania Knauss, later Melania Trump, in 1998. He maintained a long relationship with Trump and attended the couple’s 2005 wedding.
Zampolli later moved into real estate, diplomacy, philanthropy, and international business. He represented Dominica in United Nations circles and supported Ghislaine Maxwell’s TerraMar Project. Trump appointed him to the Kennedy Center board and other positions. In March 2025, Trump designated him United States Special Representative for Global Partnerships, frequently described publicly as a special envoy.
Zampolli’s modeling, nightlife, political, and diplomatic connections placed him at the intersection of several environments relevant to Epstein research. Those connections do not prove he participated in Epstein’s crimes. They explain why his name and activities receive investigative scrutiny.
The Federal Lawsuit
Drake filed Drake v. Zampolli in the Southern District of New York on September 3, 2026. The case number is 1:26-cv-07582. It was assigned to Judge Ronnie Abrams.
The complaint contains one cause of action under the New York City Gender Motivated Violence Protection Act. Drake demands a jury trial and seeks compensatory damages, punitive damages, legal fees, costs, and other relief the court considers appropriate.
Federal jurisdiction is based on diversity of citizenship. Drake alleges that she resides in Illinois, Zampolli resides in New York, and the amount in controversy exceeds $75,000.
The complaint is eleven pages and names Zampolli individually as the sole defendant. It does not name Trump, Mar a Lago, Zero Bond, Casa Cipriani, the United Nations, the State Department, or any Epstein entity as a defendant.
Federal complaint in Drake v. Zampolli
The First Meeting at Zero Bond
According to the complaint, Drake was visiting friends in New York City on October 5, 2023. At approximately 10:30 p.m., she and a friend went to Zero Bond, a private social club in Manhattan.
Zampolli allegedly approached Drake and introduced himself. The two recognized one another from having been present at Mar a Lago, although the complaint says they had not previously spoken or met.
They discussed their shared admiration for Trump. After about thirty minutes, Zampolli allegedly asked whether Drake was in a romantic relationship and requested her telephone number.
Drake says she perceived that he might be sexually interested in her, but did not share that interest. She gave him her number because she believed a professional friendship could provide networking opportunities within the political and social circles he occupied.
This allegation is important because it describes an unequal access dynamic. Drake says she did not seek a romantic or sexual relationship. She believed contact with a politically connected diplomat might open professional or social doors.
The First Visit to the Townhouse
The complaint says Zampolli later invited Drake, her friend, and two junior United Nations ambassadors to his East 17th Street townhouse for a nightcap. His driver allegedly transported the group, which arrived at approximately 12:30 a.m.
The group reportedly talked, drank, and toured the residence for about two hours. Drake describes the building as a large residence with several floors, multiple occupants, at least one elevator, a pool, and rooms called the Situation Room and Ambassador Room.
Drake states that she left at approximately 2:30 a.m. without incident.
The presence of other guests during this first visit matters. The complaint describes a group invitation into an environment framed around diplomacy, status, and social access. It does not allege an assault during the first visit.
Messages the Following Day
The next morning, according to the complaint, Zampolli texted Drake and called her “My girl” and “Princess.” He proposed an early evening meeting at Casa Cipriani and said that he wanted to get to know her.
Drake alleges that she understood the invitation as reflecting physical or sexual interest. She says the attraction was not mutual. She nevertheless hoped the relationship could become collegial and proposed a drink before plans with friends.
The complaint reproduces a series of later messages in which Zampolli allegedly pressed to see her, proposed Zero Bond or a friend’s penthouse at a Trump property, sent affectionate language and images, and repeatedly asked for a response.
Drake did not respond to many of those messages. At approximately 1:45 a.m., she says Zampolli telephoned and invited her to another gathering at his townhouse, describing guests as graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard.
Drake says she viewed the gathering as a networking opportunity. Zampolli allegedly ordered an Uber for her, and she arrived at approximately 3 a.m.
Drake’s Allegation of Drug Facilitated Rape
Drake alleges that only two other people were present when she arrived. She says Zampolli greeted her and gave her a drink.
According to the complaint, her last continuous memory was sitting on a living room couch while watching Zampolli consume what she believed was a large amount of cocaine. She then lost consciousness.
Drake alleges that Zampolli intentionally drugged her. She describes brief periods of consciousness during which she says she was naked in a bed, Zampolli was on top of her, his hands were around her neck, and he was penetrating her vaginally.
She states that she did not and could not consent.
The complaint characterizes the conduct as sexual assault and rape. These allegations have not yet been adjudicated. Zampolli is entitled to answer them and contest the evidence in court.
The Morning After
Drake alleges that she awoke naked in the same bed and noticed bruising on her hips and legs. She could not find her clothes.
The complaint says the building’s confusing layout forced her to walk through the property while searching for assistance. A tenant allegedly gave her clothing and a phone charger.
Drake says she later reached another floor and saw Zampolli’s son playing video games. Zampolli allegedly approached her and asked whether she had become lost. When she said she could not find her clothes, he allegedly directed her back to the basement.
According to the complaint, Zampolli returned her clothing. Drake dressed and left around noon. She alleges that he later sent a series of apologetic, incoherent, and persistent messages asking whether she was all right.
The quoted messages in the complaint may become significant evidence because they were allegedly sent close in time to the event. Their meaning, authenticity, completeness, and context will require formal authentication during litigation.
The Police Report and Hospital Examination
Drake alleges that she filed a report with the New York City Police Department the day after the assault. The complaint does not attach the full police report or identify a resulting arrest or criminal charge.
She states that an ambulance transported her to Lenox Health Greenwich Village. There, she underwent a Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault examination and a Sexual Assault Forensic Examination.
According to the complaint, clinicians documented:
- Bruising of the left leg
- A hip contusion
- An abrasion near the right chest or breast area
- Preventive medication intended to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections
These medical allegations provide contemporaneous corroboration that Drake sought care and had observable injuries. They do not, standing alone, identify who caused the injuries or prove every allegation in the complaint.
The drug facilitated examination may be particularly important. Its evidentiary value will depend on when samples were collected, which substances were tested, the laboratory results, chain of custody, and whether any detected substance could be distinguished from alcohol, medication, or voluntary use. The complaint does not provide those results.
The Injuries and Damages Drake Claims
Drake alleges that she experienced humiliation, degradation, emotional distress, physical ailments, pain, loss of enjoyment of life, and financial harm.
She seeks compensatory damages for physical and emotional injuries. She also requests punitive damages based on her allegation that Zampolli’s conduct was intentional, malicious, and outrageous.
The complaint does not state a specific damages amount. It says the value exceeds the jurisdictional minimum and should be determined by a jury.
The Gender Motivated Violence Protection Act
New York City enacted the Victims of Gender Motivated Violence Protection Act to create a civil remedy for people injured by gender motivated violence.
The law permits a person claiming injury from a qualifying crime of violence motivated by gender to sue the alleged perpetrator. A criminal arrest, prosecution, or conviction is not required before a civil claim may proceed.
Drake alleges that Zampolli would not have assaulted her but for her sex or gender. Her attorneys therefore characterize the alleged rape as gender motivated violence under sections 8-903 and 8-904 of the New York City Administrative Code.
The case will require the court to determine whether the factual allegations and evidence satisfy the elements of the statute. Filing under the law does not itself establish liability.
New York City legislative text
The Complaint’s Epstein Connection
Drake’s complaint devotes its opening paragraphs to Zampolli’s proximity to Epstein and Maxwell. It alleges that this history provides context for Zampolli’s access to young models and powerful networks.
The pleading cites three specific EFTA records:
- EFTA00173834, an FBI interview in which a former model described Zampolli as “sleazy” and said he dated models
- EFTA02618736, an email chain containing an accusation that lists Zampolli among alleged “killers”
- EFTA01836539, a February 2011 email in which Epstein warned a correspondent to be careful because Zampolli was “trouble”
Each record requires context. A witness’s negative description is evidence of her account, not a judicial finding. The “killers” message records an accusation sent to Epstein, not proof that anyone committed homicide. Epstein’s warning is evidence that he expressed concern about Zampolli, but it does not explain the concern or establish that Epstein possessed reliable knowledge.
The records are relevant because Drake’s lawyers included them in a signed federal pleading. They should not be inflated beyond what the documents actually show.
Sleuth Reporting and Survivor Interviews
Independent researchers brought much of the surrounding record into public view before Drake filed her federal complaint. Their work is central to understanding why her allegation did not emerge in isolation. It also requires careful source labeling. An interview preserves a witness account. A research guide organizes leads. An EFTA index helps readers locate records. None of those forms, by itself, is a court finding.
Bekah Day’s House Oversight Guide
In The Guide I Gave to the Oversight Committee to Help Them Understand Paolo Zampolli, investigative journalist Bekah Day assembled witness accounts, court material, media reporting, and Epstein records for congressional review. The guide expressly lists Victoria Drake’s statements and testimony among its source materials.
Day’s guide places Drake’s account inside a wider inquiry into Zampolli’s modeling industry relationships, his political and diplomatic access, his connections to Epstein and Maxwell linked environments, and allegations made by more than one woman. Day states that the guide is intended to identify subjects for oversight and further investigation, not to establish guilt.
The guide says Drake reported being drugged and sexually assaulted after a United Nations related event in New York in October 2023. It also refers to photographs, messages, and witness accounts. Day further reports that Zampolli called Drake in April 2026 after learning that she had spoken with Italian journalist Sacha Biazzo. According to Day, the call was recorded and witnessed by Drake’s father, and Zampolli offered money for her silence. Those additional claims do not appear as adjudicated facts in the federal complaint. The recording, its complete context, and any related communications should be authenticated before conclusions are drawn.
EpsteinWiki’s report on Day’s guide preserves the guide as part of the site’s sleuth archive and separates its allegations from established facts.
American Freakshow’s Zampolli Investigation
Nina Burleigh and Katie Chenoweth of American Freakshow examined Zampolli’s path through European nightlife, modeling agencies, Trump connected circles, and international diplomacy in From the Clubs of Ibiza to International Arms Dealmaker. Their reporting draws heavily on interviews conducted by Italian RAI journalist Sacha Biazzo, including Biazzo’s interview with Zampolli and his reporting involving Amanda Ungaro and other people who knew him.
The investigation describes Zampolli’s early exposure to the modeling business through figures including John Casablancas and Jean Luc Brunel. That reporting gives context to the modeling network documented in the EFTA files. It does not independently prove Drake’s allegation.
American Freakshow also published Ciao Paolo!, which examined Ungaro’s account of grooming, control, violence, and fear during her relationship with Zampolli. Ungaro’s allegations are separate from Drake’s lawsuit, but they form part of the witness record that led independent researchers to demand scrutiny.
EpsteinWiki’s Sleuth Report on the American Freakshow investigation summarizes the reporting and identifies the points that still require primary documentation.
Victoria Drake’s Direct Interviews
Drake spoke publicly before filing her civil complaint. Her first radio interview with Ed Opperman was published in April 2026 and runs for nearly two hours. It is a primary source for Drake’s own account, emotional presentation, chronology, and description of the people and institutions she says surrounded the event.
A DemsMight interview with Drake records her description of entering political social circles, attending Mar a Lago events, meeting Zampolli in New York, receiving persistent messages, and first visiting his residence with a friend. DemsMight states that the account and supporting material came directly from Drake and notes that Zampolli had not been charged or found liable.
Drake also gave a video interview to Scott Michael Nathan. The interview belongs in the source record because it lets readers hear her account directly. Any factual assertion drawn from it should still be compared with the complaint and underlying records.
These interviews are evidence of what Drake said and when she said it. They can be compared with her later complaint for consistency, additions, and omissions. They are not substitutes for the police file, hospital records, toxicology results, complete messages, or sworn testimony subject to cross examination.
R. Howard Stone and Tommy Carstensen’s EFTA Mapping
The Paolo Zampolli research profile, associated with the document mapping work of Tommy Carstensen and R. Howard Stone, identifies twenty six EFTA records that mention Zampolli. It connects readers directly to the FBI proffer about the attempted Elite purchase, the former ID Models witness interview, the United Nations material, and other released records.
This source is most useful as an index. Its value comes from showing where a name appears and directing readers to the underlying files. The underlying EFTA record should remain the authority for any factual claim.
What the Sleuth Record Adds
The sleuth record adds four things to the court filing. It preserves Drake’s account before litigation. It shows that researchers were examining Zampolli before the September 2026 complaint. It maps the witnesses, institutions, and EFTA documents around him. It creates a public list of records that investigators and reporters can seek, authenticate, and compare.
It does not prove that every allegation is true. The most responsible use of the sleuth work is to follow its citations, preserve its chronology, distinguish direct testimony from inference, and identify which claims still need documentary confirmation.
The Attempted Elite Model Management Purchase
An FBI proffer from a former model and Epstein employee states that Zampolli and Epstein were attempting to acquire Elite Model Management. The account places Epstein inside a modeling industry environment during casting activity.
The proffer appears in EFTA00159321 and a duplicate at EFTA00090773.
Public reporting has described a 2004 auction process involving Elite. The complete business structure, bid terms, investors, and final outcome require further documentation. The former model’s FBI account is strong evidence that investigators received information connecting Epstein and Zampolli to the attempted purchase.
This matters to Drake’s case only as background. Her alleged assault occurred in 2023 and did not involve Elite Model Management.
ID Models and the Former Model’s FBI Interview
In an August 2019 FBI interview, a former model described signing with ID Models at age eighteen. She called Zampolli “sleazy,” said he dated models, and described being dismissed after being pressured to cut her hair.
The interview appears in EFTA00173834 and duplicate EFTA00086883.
The account does not allege that Zampolli sexually assaulted that witness. It documents her perception of him, dating within the modeling environment, and an employment experience she described to federal investigators.
The complaint cites the description as background suggesting a pattern of using access to models. Whether it is admissible in Drake’s case will be a question for the court.
Epstein’s “Trouble” Warning
On February 15, 2011, Epstein sent an email about Zampolli that included a brief warning: “Be careful. He is trouble. Lots.”
The message is striking because it came from Epstein, whose own conduct involved manipulation, sexual abuse, and trafficking. It shows that Epstein viewed Zampolli as presenting some form of risk or complication.
The email does not state whether the concern involved money, women, business, politics, reputation, or personal conflict. It cannot establish that Epstein knew of a sexual assault.
Primary record: EFTA01836539
United Nations and TerraMar Connections
Zampolli moved within United Nations circles through his representation of Dominica. A September 2010 record shows him forwarding United Nations related information that reached Epstein.
Primary record: EFTA02418453
Zampolli also supported or partnered with Maxwell in connection with the TerraMar Project in 2013. TerraMar presented itself as an ocean advocacy nonprofit and helped Maxwell reenter respectable philanthropic and diplomatic spaces after Epstein’s Florida conviction.
Participation in TerraMar does not establish knowledge of Maxwell’s crimes. It does show a direct institutional relationship with her years after Epstein’s conviction.
The diplomatic setting is relevant to Drake’s allegations because her first townhouse visit allegedly included junior United Nations ambassadors and rooms styled around diplomatic authority. The complaint portrays status and access as part of the environment in which trust was created.
The Mar a Lago and Trump Context
Drake says she recognized Zampolli from Mar a Lago and believed that knowing him might restore access to influential political and social circles. She alleges that the two initially bonded over their admiration for Trump.
The complaint also recounts Zampolli’s relationship with Trump, including his role in introducing Trump and Melania Knauss, his work with the Trump Organization, his presence at their wedding, and later presidential appointments.
Trump is not accused of participating in the alleged assault. Mar a Lago is not alleged to have been the site of the incident. These facts explain how Drake recognized Zampolli and why she viewed him as a powerful networking contact.
The distinction is essential. Social access can help explain trust without making every person or institution in that social environment legally responsible.
Amanda Ungaro’s Separate Allegations
The complaint cites the treatment of Amanda Ungaro, Zampolli’s former partner and the mother of his son, as evidence of alleged intimidation and misuse of influence.
Ungaro has accused Zampolli of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse and of using political power during their custody and immigration conflict. Zampolli denied her abuse allegations and disputed her account of his role in her immigration detention and departure from the United States.
Drake’s complaint alleges that Zampolli used his government status to cause Ungaro’s deportation. That claim is disputed and has not been established in Drake’s case.
Ungaro’s allegations are potentially relevant to notice, pattern, credibility, or impeachment. Their admissibility will depend on evidentiary rules and judicial decisions.
Zampolli’s Public Counterclaim
Zampolli has publicly denied wrongdoing and has accused Drake and her father of attempting to extort him. In an April 2026 public statement, he said he filed a report with the FBI concerning an alleged demand for $650,000 and later delivered additional material to the bureau.
The existence of a public statement does not confirm that the FBI opened an investigation, accepted Zampolli’s characterization, or found that extortion occurred. No reviewed public charging document establishes his counterclaim. It should therefore be described as Zampolli’s allegation, just as Drake’s account must be described as an allegation until adjudicated.
Day’s guide describes the same communications differently. It says a recorded call contains an offer by Zampolli to pay Drake for silence. Determining which account is accurate will require the complete recording, preceding and subsequent messages, testimony from the participants and witnesses, and any records held by law enforcement.
Zampolli’s April 2026 public statement
What the Complaint Establishes as a Public Record
The filing establishes several procedural facts:
- Victoria Drake filed a federal civil complaint under her own name.
- She accused Paolo Zampolli of drugging and raping her in October 2023.

Why the Case Matters to EpsteinWiki
Drake’s case matters because it tests how an elite access network may continue to generate risk long after Epstein’s death.
The complaint describes a progression from exclusive club access to diplomatic socializing, persistent private messages, a late night invitation framed as networking, and an alleged assault inside a residence filled with symbols of power. That progression resembles broader patterns researchers examine in elite abuse cases, although similarity does not prove coordination or common conduct.
The lawsuit also places primary Epstein records into active federal litigation. EFTA documents are not being used merely for historical research. Drake’s attorneys use them to argue that warning signs around Zampolli existed before the alleged 2023 assault.
Finally, the case illustrates why EpsteinWiki must distinguish network evidence from direct evidence. Zampolli’s Epstein connections are relevant background. Drake’s police report, forensic examination, messages, witnesses, and medical records will be the evidence most directly tied to her allegation.
Survivor Centered Reporting Principles
Drake chose to file under her own name. That decision makes her identity public, but it does not eliminate her right to privacy, accuracy, or dignity.
Responsible coverage should:
- Describe her as a plaintiff and alleged survivor, not an Epstein associate
- Avoid publishing unrelated personal addresses, family details, or social media content
- Attribute contested events to the complaint
- Avoid implying that a lack of criminal charges disproves a civil allegation
- Avoid treating the complaint as a final finding of liability
- Preserve the distinction between corroborating medical care and proof of perpetrator identity
- Correctly state that police reports are filed by complainants, while prosecutors decide whether to bring charges
- Update the article when Zampolli answers, motions are decided, discovery evidence becomes public, or the case resolves
