Casey Wasserman

Casey Wasserman

American sports and entertainment executive documented on Jeffrey Epstein’s aircraft and in personal correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell

Snapshot

Casey Wasserman is an American sports and entertainment executive born on June 28, 1974. He founded the agency formerly known as Wasserman and remains chair of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic organizing committee.

The public Epstein record establishes that Wasserman and his then wife, Laura Wasserman, joined a September 2002 humanitarian delegation to Africa aboard Jeffrey Epstein’s Boeing 727. The itinerary generated sixteen individual flight legs, which represent one multi stop journey rather than sixteen separate trips.

The files also contain FedEx shipments billed to Epstein’s account and a series of personal, flirtatious, and sexually suggestive emails between Wasserman and Ghislaine Maxwell during March and April 2003.

Wasserman has said that the Africa journey was his only interaction with Epstein, that he witnessed nothing inappropriate, and that he never communicated with Epstein afterward. He apologized for his correspondence with Maxwell and denied having a personal or business relationship with Epstein.

As of September 2026, Wasserman remains chair of LA28. In July 2026, Providence Equity Partners announced an agreement supporting the acquisition of Wasserman’s remaining ownership interest in the agency now called THE•TEAM. The transaction was expected to close during the second half of 2026.

Key Takeaways

  • Wasserman and his then wife traveled on Epstein’s Boeing 727 during a September 2002 Clinton Foundation humanitarian mission to Africa.
  • The itinerary created sixteen logged flight legs between September 21 and September 29, 2002. These entries document one extended journey, not sixteen independent visits or trips.
  • Epstein and Maxwell appeared on many, but not every, recorded leg of the journey.
  • A 2020 FBI interview memorandum records a physician’s recollection that Wasserman, his wife, Bill Clinton, Ghislaine Maxwell, several public figures, Secret Service personnel, and approximately four young women were aboard the aircraft.
  • FedEx invoices billed to Epstein’s account document an October 2002 shipment to Casey Wasserman and a December 2002 shipment addressed to Laura Casey Wasserman.
  • The December shipment record lists “MAXWELL” as the delivery signature. The files do not identify the contents of either shipment.
  • Wasserman and Maxwell exchanged personal and sexually suggestive emails during March and April 2003.
  • One email chain shows Maxwell telling Wasserman that “JE” had asked her to find a Malibu rental. Wasserman supplied the contact information of a beach real estate agent and discussed Malibu locations with her.
  • Wasserman’s released emails are with Maxwell, not Epstein.
  • No released evidence cited here establishes that Wasserman participated in Epstein or Maxwell’s abuse, knew about their trafficking operation, visited Little Saint James, or engaged in sexual activity involving a victim.
  • Wasserman has not been charged with an Epstein related crime and has not been publicly identified as the target of a criminal investigation connected to Epstein.

Overview

Casey Wasserman built a career at the intersection of sports representation, entertainment, marketing, philanthropy, and civic leadership. He is the grandson of Hollywood executive Lew Wasserman and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996.

Wasserman founded the company that became Wasserman in 2002. The business expanded through acquisitions into athlete representation, music, entertainment management, consulting, and marketing. He also led Los Angeles’s Olympic bid and became chair of the organizing committee for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

His connection to the Epstein record centers on three evidence groups.

The first is travel. A typed itinerary and flight records place Casey and Laura Wasserman on Epstein’s Boeing 727 during a September 2002 humanitarian journey through Europe and Africa.

The second is shipping. FedEx invoices billed to Epstein’s account identify shipments to Wasserman addresses shortly after the Africa journey.

The third is correspondence. Emails preserved in Epstein related productions document a personal relationship between Wasserman and Maxwell during 2003. The exchanges discuss meetings, massages, travel, hotel arrangements, Malibu real estate, and sexually suggestive subjects.

The significance of the correspondence is heightened by Maxwell’s later conviction. Federal prosecutors proved that Maxwell helped Epstein recruit, groom, and abuse minors from approximately 1994 through 2004. Wasserman’s emails therefore occurred during the period covered by the criminal case, although Epstein and Maxwell’s conduct had not yet become public knowledge.

Identity Verification

Casey Wasserman is identified through several independent and primary records.

The International Olympic Committee biography identifies him as chair of LA28 and founder of Wasserman.

The UCLA reporting on the released emails identifies Wasserman as a 1996 UCLA graduate, donor, entertainment executive, and LA28 chair.

A contact update preserved in EFTA00578861 identifies the correspondent as Casey Wasserman and lists him as chief executive of Wasserman Media Group.

The 2003 Vanity Fair profile preserved in HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_018001 identifies him as Lew Wasserman’s grandson and names him among the passengers Epstein transported to Africa.

The personal emails consistently identify the sender as Casey Wasserman and connect him with known details including Wasserman Media Group, New York travel, Carbon Beach, Malibu, and his professional contacts.

Documented Epstein Connection

September 2002 Africa journey

The clearest direct connection between Wasserman and Epstein is the September 2002 Africa journey.

The typed travel document in EFTA00578629 repeatedly lists Casey Wasserman and Laura Wasserman among the delegation. Other listed passengers include Bill Clinton, Doug Band, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Ghislaine Maxwell, Eric Nonacs, Jim Kennedy, Gayle Smith, Rodney Slater, Secret Service personnel, and other travelers.

The itinerary covers sixteen aircraft movements between September 21 and September 29, 2002. Recorded locations include New York, the Azores, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique, South Africa, and Paris.

The sixteen entries should not be described as sixteen independent Epstein trips. They were the individual legs of one humanitarian delegation’s extended itinerary.

The journey was reported publicly in Vicky Ward’s March 2003 Vanity Fair profile of Epstein. A copy appears in HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_018001, while another archival copy appears in EFTA01069593. Ward described the purpose as examining AIDS and economic development in Africa.

In 2026, Wasserman said that he joined the trip through the Clinton Foundation and that it was the only time he met Epstein. He said he witnessed nothing inappropriate and never saw, spoke with, or communicated with Epstein again after the journey.

FBI interview concerning the journey

An FBI FD 302 dated April 23, 2020, preserved in EFTA00086866, memorializes an interview with a physician who had provided medical support connected to the Secret Service.

According to the memorandum, the interviewee recalled traveling on Epstein’s jet in September 2002. The interviewee identified Casey Wasserman and his wife among the passengers, along with Epstein, Maxwell, Clinton, members of Clinton’s staff, Secret Service agents, Spacey, Tucker, Ron Burkle, and Rodney Slater.

The interviewee also recalled approximately four young women who appeared to be between twenty and twenty two years old. The memorandum records what the witness told investigators. It is not a transcript, a sworn declaration, or independent proof of every detail recalled approximately eighteen years after the journey.

The presence of women later identified as part of Epstein’s orbit makes the journey relevant to understanding how Epstein placed survivors and young women in elite social settings. It does not establish that Wasserman knew their histories, understood their relationships with Epstein, or witnessed abuse.

October 2002 FedEx shipment

A FedEx invoice dated October 14, 2002, appears in EFTA00040687.

The invoice was billed to Jeffrey E. Epstein at 457 Madison Avenue in New York. One shipment entry identifies Casey Wasserman in Beverly Hills as the recipient and records a charge of $22.75.

The invoice establishes that a shipment was processed through Epstein’s FedEx account for delivery to Wasserman. It does not disclose what was inside the package or who personally arranged it.

December 2002 FedEx shipment

A second FedEx invoice dated December 23, 2002, appears in EFTA00218048. A duplicate or parallel production appears in EFTA01317979.

The invoice was billed to Epstein’s account and includes a shipment addressed to “LAURA CASEY WASSERMAN.” The associated delivery information records “MAXWELL” as the signature and a charge of $16.76.

The record establishes another logistical link between Epstein’s account, the Wasserman household, and the name Maxwell. It does not identify the shipment’s contents or establish which Maxwell signed for it.

March 2003 correspondence with Maxwell

A substantial email chain dated March 14 through March 16, 2003, appears in EFTA02333624. Another production of the chain appears in EFTA00579833.

Maxwell described flying an aircraft identified as “491 GM,” attending a Bobby Slayton performance, and thinking about Wasserman at inappropriate moments.

Wasserman responded that he thought about her frequently, asked what he needed to do to see her wearing a tight leather outfit, and said he was in New York while she was away.

In EFTA02333622, Maxwell proposed what she called an important meeting and asked whether an early breakfast was possible.

In EFTA02335206, Maxwell said she would return to New York wearing a tight leather flying suit.

In EFTA02335207, the two continued discussing what Wasserman should do while in New York.

In EFTA02335210 and EFTA02333626, Maxwell called Wasserman a tease after he invited her to come over. The chain also refers to Ron Burkle calling Maxwell.

The surviving chain demonstrates mutual familiarity, flirtation, and an interest in meeting privately. It does not document Epstein participating in the conversation.

April 2003 massage correspondence

On April 1, 2003, Wasserman emailed Maxwell that he missed her, expected to be in New York for four days beginning April 22, and asked whether they could arrange a massage. The message appears in EFTA02332508 and the duplicate production EFTA00578813.

An April 2 and April 3 exchange appears in EFTA02332522 and EFTA00578830. Maxwell responded with sexually suggestive language about rubbing and places that could drive a man wild. Wasserman asked whether she would be in New York when he arrived.

A follow up message in EFTA00580054 clarified Wasserman’s earlier wording and said that he was looking forward to seeing her.

These documents show that the massage discussion was personal and flirtatious. They do not identify a victim, a commercial massage appointment, or an Epstein employee as the proposed massage provider.

April 2003 Malibu rental discussion

Emails dated April 6 and April 7 connect the Wasserman and Maxwell correspondence to a request attributed to Epstein.

In EFTA02333856, Maxwell wrote that “JE” had asked her to find a Malibu house for two weeks in June. She asked Wasserman to recommend a real estate contact.

A duplicate and expanded version appears in EFTA00580062.

In EFTA00580060, Wasserman identified Stephen Shapiro as an appropriate agent for beach property and supplied his telephone number. Wasserman also encouraged Maxwell to choose a week in Los Angeles and told her that the only thing he wanted from Paris was her.

Maxwell replied that she would contact Shapiro and rely on Wasserman’s local guidance. Wasserman’s responses appear across EFTA02333856, EFTA02333858, and the duplicate EFTA00580064.

The conversation then turned to the proposed rental area and their personal plans.

In EFTA02332532, Maxwell and Wasserman discussed spending time together without other people.

In EFTA02332533, the exchange continued with references to whether Maxwell would have to share her attention.

In EFTA02332534, Wasserman described June weather and said he preferred Carbon Beach, where he had a house. The duplicate versions include EFTA00578844 and EFTA00578845.

In EFTA02332536, Maxwell joked about being naked on a foggy beach, asked about Wasserman’s view, and said she could not sleep. A parallel production appears in EFTA00578847.

This chain demonstrates that Wasserman provided Maxwell with a real estate contact after she attributed the rental request to Epstein. It does not show a direct conversation between Wasserman and Epstein, a completed rental, a payment, or a formal business agreement involving Wasserman.

April 2003 contact exchange and travel planning

On April 9, Wasserman sent Maxwell an automated contact update identifying himself and Wasserman Media Group. That record appears in EFTA00578861.

On April 12, Maxwell asked whether she could travel back to New York with Wasserman after visiting Los Angeles. The exchange appears in EFTA02332571.

Maxwell said she expected to arrive in Los Angeles on April 20 or April 21 and asked when Wasserman planned to leave. Wasserman replied that his departure would probably be late in the afternoon.

In EFTA02335258, Maxwell said she expected to stay at the Peninsula hotel. A related continuation appears in EFTA02332572.

These emails document continued personal contact, efforts to coordinate travel, and discussion of Maxwell’s hotel. They do not prove that every proposed meeting or flight occurred.

Legal Status and Evidence Limits

Casey Wasserman has not been charged with participating in Epstein or Maxwell’s trafficking operation. No public criminal judgment identifies him as an abuser, recruiter, facilitator, or client.

The documentary record establishes:

  • His presence on Epstein’s aircraft during the 2002 Africa journey.
  • His personal association and correspondence with Maxwell in 2003.
  • Shipments to Wasserman addresses billed through Epstein’s FedEx account.
  • His assistance in connecting Maxwell with a Malibu real estate agent after Maxwell attributed the rental request to Epstein.

The cited evidence does not establish:

  • That Wasserman knew Epstein and Maxwell were abusing or trafficking minors.
  • That Wasserman participated in sexual abuse or trafficking.
  • That he visited Little Saint James, Zorro Ranch, Epstein’s Palm Beach residence, or Epstein’s Manhattan residence.
  • That he had a financial account, investment, employment relationship, or formal contract with Epstein.
  • That the massage discussed with Maxwell involved a survivor or anyone employed by Epstein.
  • That every proposed meeting, massage, hotel stay, rental, or shared flight discussed in the emails occurred.

Wasserman’s statement that the Africa journey was his only interaction with Epstein is narrower than the full documentary picture because the record also includes shipments billed to Epstein’s account and a Malibu rental conversation tied to a request Maxwell attributed to “JE.” Those records establish indirect logistical links. They do not prove direct personal communication between Wasserman and Epstein.

Wasserman has emphasized that his contacts occurred before Epstein and Maxwell’s crimes became publicly known. That chronology is correct regarding public exposure. Palm Beach police began investigating Epstein in 2005. However, Maxwell’s federal conviction covered conduct occurring from approximately 1994 through 2004. The 2002 journey and 2003 emails occurred within that proven criminal period.

The LA28 review was commissioned by LA28 and conducted with outside counsel. Its complete report has not been made public. The board’s announced conclusion therefore represents the organization’s determination, not a public judicial finding.

Sleuth and Independent Reporting

Ellie Leonard’s Ghislaine Maxwell, the Woman Who Knew Too Much placed Wasserman’s Africa travel within Maxwell’s broader role in Epstein’s social and operational network.

Leonard’s Why Resignation Isn’t Good Enough examined the institutional consequences faced by Wasserman and other powerful people appearing in the released files. Her analysis centers survivor accountability and distinguishes professional resignation from criminal or civil adjudication.

Duncan Mackay’s Wasserman’s link with Epstein files not a good look for LA28 examined the implications for Wasserman’s Olympic leadership.

Mackay’s subsequent reporting, including Wasserman is in a battle to save his Olympics job and Wasserman plans to concentrate on LA28 preparations, followed the LA28 board response and Wasserman’s withdrawal from his agency.

Overview

Casey Wasserman is the grandson of entertainment executive Lew Wasserman. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996 and became a prominent sports and entertainment agent.

Wasserman established the business originally called Wasserman Media Group. It expanded through acquisitions into athlete representation, music, entertainment management, marketing, and media rights.

He led Los Angeles’s successful effort to secure the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and continues to chair the LA28 organizing committee.

In January 2026, the Department of Justice released records showing personal correspondence between Wasserman and Ghislaine Maxwell. The emails attracted additional attention to his previously reported participation in the 2002 Africa journey aboard Epstein’s aircraft.

Wasserman subsequently announced that he would sell his remaining agency interest and withdraw from its daily operations. In July 2026, Providence Equity Partners announced an additional investment intended to finance the acquisition of that interest by the renamed company, THE•TEAM. The transaction was expected to close during the second half of 2026.

Identity Verification

The Casey Wasserman in the records can be identified through several overlapping details.

  • The Africa itinerary names both Casey Wasserman and Laura Wasserman.
  • Contemporary reporting described the passenger as Lew Wasserman’s grandson.
  • The email records identify the sender as Casey Wasserman.
  • A contact update sent to Maxwell identifies him as the chief executive of Wasserman Media Group.
  • The correspondence refers to his Carbon Beach residence, Los Angeles contacts, and travel between Los Angeles and New York.
  • Wasserman has publicly acknowledged both the Africa journey and the correspondence with Maxwell.

The combined travel records, biographical details, contact information, and Wasserman’s own statements leave no reasonable identity ambiguity.

Documented Epstein Connection

September 2002 Africa journey

A typed itinerary titled “Africa Trip Information” names Casey and Laura Wasserman among the passengers scheduled to travel aboard Epstein’s Boeing 727.

The available itinerary covers flight legs through the Azores, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique, South Africa, and France. It identifies delegation members and United States Secret Service personnel traveling with former President Bill Clinton.

The itinerary is preserved in EFTA00578629.

The record contains sixteen flight entries associated with Wasserman between September 21 and September 29. This should be described as one multi stop journey, not sixteen independent visits to Epstein.

Contemporary coverage also identified Wasserman as a passenger. Vicky Ward’s 2003 Vanity Fair profile reported that Epstein had recently flown Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Ron Burkle, Wasserman, and others to Africa. Copies of that reporting appear in EFTA01069593, EFTA01334040, EFTA02729228, and HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_018001.

FBI account of the journey

An FBI FD 302 dated April 23, 2020 memorializes an interview with an emergency physician who had supported the presidential delegation.

The interviewee told agents that Wasserman and his wife were aboard Epstein’s aircraft with Clinton, Epstein, Maxwell, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Ron Burkle, Rodney Slater, presidential staff, Secret Service agents, and approximately four young women described as about twenty to twenty two years old.

That interview appears in EFTA00086866.

An FD 302 records what an interviewee told investigators. It is not a sworn transcript and does not independently prove every recalled detail. It nevertheless corroborates Wasserman’s presence and provides a witness account of the passenger group.

Survivor Chauntae Davies has publicly described traveling with the Africa delegation. Her presence gives the trip survivor relevance. No released evidence reviewed for this article shows that Wasserman knew what Epstein had done to Davies or participated in her abuse.

October 2002 FedEx shipment

A FedEx invoice dated October 14, 2002 lists Epstein’s Madison Avenue address as the billing account and contains a shipment to Casey Wasserman in Beverly Hills.

The shipment was charged at $22.75. The public record does not identify the package contents.

The invoice appears in EFTA00040687.

December 2002 FedEx shipment

A second FedEx invoice dated December 23, 2002 contains a shipment addressed to “Laura Casey Wasserman.” It was billed through Epstein’s account and carried a charge of $16.76.

The associated delivery information records “MAXWELL” as the signature. The entry does not establish which Maxwell signed or what the package contained.

The invoice appears in EFTA00218048. A duplicate production appears in EFTA01317979.

March 2003 correspondence with Maxwell

A March 14 through March 16 email chain documents personal and sexually suggestive communication between Wasserman and Maxwell.

Maxwell wrote about wearing a leather flying outfit and said she had thought of Wasserman at inappropriate moments. Wasserman responded that he thought about her frequently and asked what he had to do to see her in a tight leather outfit.

The exchange continued with discussion of meeting in New York, an early breakfast, and Maxwell returning while dressed in a leather flying suit. Wasserman invited her to come over. Maxwell replied that her ideas about what he should do involved her.

The most complete copies include EFTA00579833 and EFTA02333624.

Related components and duplicate productions include:

April 1, 2003 massage request

On April 1, Wasserman wrote to Maxwell that he missed her, would be in New York beginning April 22, and wanted to arrange the massage they had apparently discussed.

The message appears in EFTA02332508. A duplicate appears in EFTA00578813.

April 2 through April 4 massage exchange

Maxwell answered with suggestive comments about rubbing and places that could drive a man wild. Wasserman replied that she should take him and asked whether she would be in New York during his visit.

A subsequent message clarified that he definitely wanted her to take him and was looking forward to seeing her.

The records include:

The documents show a reciprocal personal exchange. They do not establish that a massage or meeting actually occurred.

April 6 through April 7 Malibu rental exchange

Maxwell told Wasserman that “JE” had asked her to locate a Malibu house for two weeks in June. She asked for a real estate recommendation and said Epstein had suggested that she choose a week to visit Los Angeles and inspect properties.

Wasserman responded that Stephen Shapiro was the best beach agent, supplied his telephone number, encouraged Maxwell to select a week in Los Angeles, and told her that the only thing he wanted from Paris was her.

The conversation continued on April 7. Wasserman discussed the weather, Carbon Beach, and the relative appeal of Malibu locations. Maxwell made flirtatious references to visiting the beach naked and asked where Wasserman was when she could not sleep.

The records show Wasserman helping Maxwell with a request she expressly attributed to Epstein. They do not show direct communication between Wasserman and Epstein or establish that Wasserman entered a business arrangement with him.

Principal and duplicate records include:

April 9 contact update

A contact management message sent Maxwell Casey Wasserman’s business information and identified him with Wasserman Media Group.

The record demonstrates that Maxwell possessed or received his professional contact details. It appears in EFTA00578861.

April 12 travel coordination

An April 12 chain concerns Maxwell traveling to Los Angeles and potentially returning to New York with Wasserman.

Maxwell asked whether she could fly back with him. They discussed arrival and departure times, and Maxwell said she expected to stay at the Peninsula hotel. Wasserman replied with timing information and affectionate signoffs.

The records include:

The messages demonstrate travel planning. They do not confirm through an independent manifest that the proposed shared flight occurred.

Evidence Appearances

Aircraft and itinerary records

The strongest evidence for direct contact with Epstein is the September 2002 Africa journey. Wasserman acknowledges meeting Epstein during that trip.

The sixteen flight records represent individual legs within the same extended itinerary. Counting each leg as a separate Epstein trip would materially overstate the record.

FBI interview record

The 2020 FBI report corroborates the trip through a participant’s recollection. It also records the presence of young adult women. It does not accuse Wasserman of misconduct or state that the interviewee witnessed him engaging in inappropriate behavior.

Shipping records

The FedEx invoices show that Epstein’s account was used for shipments to the Wasserman household or business. They do not disclose package contents, the underlying purpose, or whether Casey Wasserman personally requested either shipment.

Email records

The email evidence establishes a personal relationship between Wasserman and Maxwell involving attraction, intimate suggestions, proposed massages, meetings, travel planning, and assistance with a Malibu rental inquiry attributed to Epstein.

The records are stronger evidence of a relationship with Maxwell than of a direct relationship with Epstein.

Contemporary reporting

The Africa journey was publicly reported in Vanity Fair in 2003. This is significant because Wasserman’s presence on Epstein’s aircraft was not first alleged after Epstein’s 2019 arrest. It was described contemporaneously, before Epstein’s criminal conduct became broadly known.

Public statements

In 2026, Wasserman acknowledged the emails and expressed regret. He said he had never maintained a personal or business relationship with Epstein.

He later said the Africa trip was the only time he met Epstein, that he witnessed nothing inappropriate, and that he did not speak with or communicate with Epstein afterward.

The FedEx records and Malibu rental discussion add context to that denial. They show continuing contact with Maxwell and logistical links to Epstein’s account or requests, but they do not prove direct personal communication between Wasserman and Epstein after the trip.

Legal Status and Evidence Limits

Casey Wasserman has not been charged with an offense connected to Epstein or Maxwell. No public criminal case identifies him as a participant in their trafficking operation.

No survivor has publicly accused Wasserman of sexually abusing them or assisting Epstein’s abuse.

The evidence establishes:

  • One acknowledged multi country journey aboard Epstein’s aircraft.
  • Direct social contact with Epstein during that journey.
  • Repeated personal correspondence with Maxwell during 2003.
  • Sexually suggestive and intimate language between Wasserman and Maxwell.
  • Proposed meetings, massage discussions, and travel planning.
  • Assistance with a Malibu property inquiry that Maxwell attributed to Epstein.
  • Two shipments to the Wasserman household or business billed through Epstein’s FedEx account.

The evidence does not establish:

  • That Wasserman knew Epstein or Maxwell was abusing minors.
  • That Wasserman participated in sexual abuse or trafficking.
  • That he visited Little Saint James, Zorro Ranch, Epstein’s Palm Beach residence, or Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse.
  • That he maintained a financial account, investment, or formal business relationship with Epstein.
  • That the proposed massages, meetings, or shared flights discussed in the emails occurred.
  • That Wasserman communicated directly with Epstein after the Africa trip.

The timing remains important. Wasserman is correct that Epstein and Maxwell’s crimes had not entered general public knowledge when the correspondence occurred. However, federal prosecutors proved that Maxwell’s criminal conduct extended from approximately 1994 through 2004. The emails therefore occurred during the proven abuse period, even though Wasserman’s knowledge of that conduct has not been established.

LA28’s outside counsel review reportedly concluded that his contacts did not extend beyond the public record. Because the complete review has not been released, the public cannot independently examine its interviews, evidentiary scope, or underlying work.

Sleuth and Independent Reporting

Ellie Leonard documented Wasserman’s participation in the Africa journey while examining Maxwell’s role in maintaining relationships with wealthy and influential people. Her later accountability analysis placed the sale of Wasserman’s agency within the wider institutional response to the 2026 disclosures.

Independent Olympic journalist Duncan Mackay followed the pressure on Wasserman’s LA28 position, the board’s continued support, and Wasserman’s decision to focus on the Games while leaving his agency.

The Jmail Encyclopedia assembled the surviving email threads and connected Wasserman’s contact information, Maxwell correspondence, Africa travel, and public response.

Independent document indexes have also helped distinguish duplicate email productions from separate communications. This is essential because the same underlying chains appear under different EFTA identifiers in Data Sets 9 and 11.

The independent reporting supports navigation and context. Claims about the contents of the emails, itineraries, FBI interview, and shipping records should remain anchored to the underlying documents.
