Vikram Chatwal is a New York hotel entrepreneur, actor and former model whose name appears in Jeffrey Epstein’s contact directory. A separate contemporary interview establishes that Chatwal publicly described attending a dinner at Ghislaine Maxwell’s Manhattan residence in honor of Prince Andrew.
These two records form the principal evidentiary foundation for his inclusion in EpsteinWiki. The contact-book entry establishes that his information appeared in Epstein-associated records. The November 2002 interview establishes a reported social encounter with Maxwell years before her criminal prosecution.
Independent research published in September 2026 by Bekah Day and photographer Selma Fonseca adds historical photographic context. Their investigation documents overlapping celebrity, modeling, nightlife and business circles in which Chatwal and several people relevant to Epstein investigations appeared.
The available evidence establishes contact information, reported social association and historical event appearances. It does not independently establish that Chatwal worked for Epstein, traveled on Epstein’s aircraft, visited Epstein’s island or ranch, or participated in trafficking.
Identity and Biographical Background
Vikram Chatwal was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 1971. His father, Sant Singh Chatwal, developed restaurant and hotel businesses that later expanded into New York.
The family moved from Ethiopia to Canada during the 1970s and subsequently settled in New York City.
Chatwal attended the United Nations International School and later the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
He worked briefly in finance before pursuing modeling, acting and hospitality development.
The November 2002 Observer profile provides an unusually detailed contemporary account of his career, family background, business ambitions and celebrity social circle.
Distinguishing Vikram From Sant Singh Chatwal
Vikram Chatwal and his father Sant Singh Chatwal are separate people.
Both appeared in prominent New York hospitality and political circles.
However, financial transactions, political donations, litigation and professional actions involving the father cannot automatically be attributed to the son.
The Epstein contact-directory entry specifically identifies Vikram Chatwal.
Hotel and Hospitality Businesses
Chatwal’s hospitality work was closely associated with the family businesses and the development of boutique hotels in Manhattan.
The 2002 Observer interview discussed the Time Hotel, the Majestic Hotel and other planned properties.
Later coverage connected Chatwal to the Dream hotel brand and luxury hospitality ventures in New York and other cities.
These enterprises provided access to the fashion, entertainment, celebrity and nightlife industries.
Such access explains the social environments in which Chatwal appears in contemporary interviews and later photographic archives.
What the Hotel Connection Does Not Prove
No independently verified original contract, payment record or hotel booking establishes that Chatwal supplied rooms or services for Epstein’s trafficking activities.
His ownership or management of hotels does not independently establish criminal knowledge.
Any connection between an individual hotel property and Epstein’s conduct would require specific, dated documentary evidence.
The Original Epstein Contact-Book Evidence
The 99-page contact-book collection EFTA00191467 is the most direct Epstein-document evidence identifying Vikram Chatwal.
The relevant page is stamped EFTA00191482.
The scanned original visibly includes the entry “Chatwal, Vikram” within the alphabetized contact directory.
The entry includes a business affiliation with Hampshire Hotels & Resorts.
Telephone numbers and address information appear in the historical directory, but those private details are not necessary to establish the relationship evidence and are intentionally omitted.
Document-Level Verification
The original EFTA contact-book collection contains 99 pages.
EFTA00191482 is the sixteenth page of that collection when counting from EFTA00191467.
This individual page was inspected in its scanned form, rather than relying solely on a searchable name index.
A government-numbered reproduction, DOJ-OGR-00022301, also identifies Chatwal in a redacted contact-book page.
These are overlapping reproductions of directory evidence. They should not be counted as separate personal encounters with Epstein.
What the Entry Establishes
The entry establishes that Chatwal’s contact information was preserved in Epstein-associated records.
It does not establish who collected the information, when it was entered, whether Epstein personally used it or how often anyone communicated with Chatwal.
A contact directory is not a list of criminal participants.
It may contain friends, business contacts, acquaintances, service providers and people whose details were obtained without a continuing relationship.
The Epstein Data Wiki and Document Archive
The Epstein Data Wiki is a research resource that develops reviewed, footnoted profiles from original records.
Its published people directory was examined for a dedicated Vikram Chatwal biography.
No published subject-specific wiki page was identified in that directory during this review.
Accordingly, this article does not attribute invented findings to a nonexistent Chatwal wiki entry.
Instead, the profile uses the directly inspected contact-book page, the original contemporary interview, the existing EpsteinWiki sleuth report and independent photographic research.
The absence of a published Wiki biography does not establish that no further relevant documents exist in the searchable archive.
Ghislaine Maxwell: The 2002 Dinner
The November 18, 2002 Observer interview is the strongest independently published evidence of Chatwal’s social relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell.
Journalist George Gurley interviewed Chatwal about his business ventures, modeling career, family, celebrity friendships and recent social experiences.
During the interview, Chatwal recalled attending a dinner at Maxwell’s Manhattan townhouse.
He identified Prince Andrew as the guest of honor.
He also described Maxwell recounting an extraordinary story involving military helicopter activity in Colombia.
Why This Interview Is Important
The interview was published in 2002.
It therefore predates Epstein’s 2008 Florida conviction and Maxwell’s later federal prosecution.
The reporting preserves Chatwal’s public description of Maxwell in a contemporaneous setting rather than relying solely on retrospective accounts made after the Epstein scandal became widely known.
It is independent evidence that Chatwal publicly claimed to have attended the dinner and heard Maxwell’s story.
It does not independently authenticate every claim made at the gathering.
Prince Andrew at Maxwell’s Residence
Chatwal identified Prince Andrew, then Duke of York, as the dinner’s guest of honor.
The Observer article also described Andrew making a joke involving members of the British royal family.
Those details help identify the type of private social gathering Chatwal was describing.
The interview establishes an attributed social encounter involving Chatwal, Maxwell and Andrew.
It does not establish that Epstein hosted the dinner or attended it.
Nor does it establish that Chatwal knew of allegations later made concerning Andrew’s interactions within Epstein’s circle.
Maxwell’s Colombia Black Hawk Story
The 2002 Observer interview records Chatwal describing Maxwell’s account of flying a Black Hawk helicopter in Colombia and firing a rocket into what she called a terrorist camp.
Chatwal expressed admiration for the story at the time.
This is one of the most historically significant details in his published interview because it establishes that Maxwell was discussing such activity in an identifiable social setting by November 2002.
What the Original Interview Proves
It establishes that Chatwal recounted Maxwell’s story to a journalist.
It does not independently prove a rocket was fired.
It does not establish who operated the weapon, whether it contained live ammunition, what was targeted or whether anyone was harmed.
Those are separate factual questions.
Colombia, Andrés Pastrana and the Photographic Record
The EpsteinWiki investigation of Bekah Day and Selma Fonseca’s archive examines photographs and historical reporting concerning Maxwell in Colombia.
That research identifies photographs showing Maxwell near military aviation equipment and discusses her connection with former Colombian president Andrés Pastrana.
The available reporting supports Maxwell’s presence in Colombia and access to a military aviation environment.
It does not independently establish every operational detail of the helicopter story she reportedly told at Chatwal’s dinner.
The Evidence Still Needed
A definitive account of an alleged helicopter mission would require reliable aircraft logs, crew records, military authorizations, mission reports, weapons records or firsthand operational testimony.
The Observer interview is a historical lead concerning Maxwell’s own account.
It is not a judicial finding that Maxwell committed a war crime or participated in an unlawful military attack.
The Timeline Matters
The Observer article was published in November 2002.
That publication date is not the date of the alleged helicopter incident.
Bill Clinton had left the presidency in January 2001, although major elements of Plan Colombia were developed and implemented during his administration.
Neither the reported dinner nor its publication date establishes the exact timing of the alleged military activity.
Bekah Day and Selma Fonseca’s 2026 Investigation
The September 2026 EpsteinWiki sleuth report examines independent research by Bekah Day and nightlife photographer Selma Fonseca.
Fonseca spent years photographing celebrities, business figures, politicians, models and entertainers at private parties and public events.
Her archive documents a world of nightlife promoters, luxury hospitality businesses, fashion events and exclusive social gatherings.
Chatwal appears among figures identified in the investigation alongside Maxwell, Paolo Zampolli and others who circulated in overlapping environments.
The research is particularly valuable because historical photographs can help establish people, venues, event dates and the composition of social gatherings.
Limitations of Photographic Evidence
Photographs establish what is visible in a documented image.
They cannot independently establish the private intentions, knowledge, ages or experiences of every person depicted.
A photograph of someone with an Epstein associate does not prove that the person participated in trafficking.
Original photographer attribution, event dating and image context remain essential to reliable use of the archive.
Paolo Zampolli and the Modeling Network
The Bekah Day and Fonseca research includes Vikram Chatwal among figures connected to social events involving Paolo Zampolli.
Zampolli was involved in modeling and international social networks that have attracted scrutiny in broader Epstein research.
Chatwal’s hospitality and entertainment career placed him within some of the same professional settings.
The photographic record can establish shared appearances at specific events where identifications and dates are reliable.
It does not independently establish a recruiting relationship, trafficking arrangement or financial transaction between Chatwal and Zampolli.
Sean Combs and the Celebrity Social Circuit
The 2002 Observer interview describes Chatwal’s social connection with Sean Combs, widely known as Puff Daddy or P. Diddy.
Chatwal discussed attending parties within Combs’s celebrity circle.
Fonseca’s archive also includes historical event imagery of Chatwal at a Miami celebration associated with Combs.
These sources support a social association within the entertainment industry.
They do not establish that Chatwal participated in alleged criminal activities involving Combs or Epstein.
Separate investigations involving different people should not be merged without direct, specific evidence.
Tara Reid and Other Event Photographs
Fonseca’s historical photographic work includes images involving Chatwal and actress Tara Reid.
These photographs are relevant to reconstructing Chatwal’s broader nightlife and entertainment environment.
They do not independently establish that Reid was associated with Epstein’s crimes.
Each photograph should retain its own verified event date and caption rather than acquiring an Epstein-specific allegation through inclusion in a network article.
David Blaine, Fashion Figures and Entertainment
The 2002 Observer interview also describes Chatwal’s connections with magician David Blaine and fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg.
Their appearances in his contemporary social profile illustrate how the hotel and entertainment industries overlapped in his career.
Those connections are relevant to identifying the person named in Epstein’s contact directory.
However, they do not establish that the named entertainers attended Maxwell’s dinner or participated in Epstein’s criminal network.
Modeling and Acting Career
Chatwal worked as a model and pursued acting while developing his hospitality career.
His entertainment credits include an appearance in Zoolander and work on other film projects.
His modeling career and hotel businesses helped place him within the New York fashion and nightlife environment.
No independently authenticated document reviewed for this article establishes that Chatwal recruited people for Epstein’s trafficking operation.
A professional association with modeling should not be treated as evidence of recruitment without direct documentation.
Sant Singh Chatwal and Political Connections
Chatwal’s father, Sant Singh Chatwal, maintained hospitality and political relationships involving prominent Democratic figures, including Bill and Hillary Clinton.
The Observer profile discusses the family’s political social connections and fundraising environment.
Those connections are part of Vikram Chatwal’s biographical background.
However, Sant Singh Chatwal’s individual actions, financial transactions and later legal matters must not be attributed automatically to Vikram.
Nor does the family’s political access establish a coordinated operation involving Jeffrey Epstein.
Additional Epstein Data Evidence and Related Networks
The Epstein Data database explorer provides separate search tools for source documents, extracted entities, photographs and other material.
The identified Chatwal-specific primary evidence remains the contact-book entry.
The related EpsteinWiki investigation also cites EFTA02422385 and EFTA02422405 concerning Epstein’s efforts to gain access to Cipriani Upstairs.
Those communications document Epstein’s interest in an exclusive social venue.
They do not establish that Vikram Chatwal authored the emails, received them or arranged the relevant access.
Accordingly, those evidence identifiers should remain associated with the wider nightlife-network investigation rather than be presented as Chatwal-specific communications.
Did Vikram Chatwal Fly on Epstein’s Aircraft?
No original aviation manifest conclusively identifying Vikram Chatwal has been established in this investigation.
The contact-book entry and 2002 dinner account are not flight records.
Photographs showing him at unrelated parties or airports would not establish an Epstein aircraft journey without aircraft-specific corroboration.
He therefore should not be assigned a flight count based on the evidence currently reviewed.
Did Chatwal Visit Little St. James or Zorro Ranch?
No verified original document inspected for this article places Vikram Chatwal at Little St. James in the United States Virgin Islands.
No authenticated visitor record, photograph, itinerary or witness account places him at Zorro Ranch in New Mexico.
His documented attendance at Maxwell’s Manhattan residence does not establish travel to either property.
Likewise, his presence in international nightlife networks is not evidence of island or ranch visitation.
Direct Financial and Employment Relationships
No authenticated Epstein-related payment, investment agreement, employment contract, invoice or banking record naming Vikram Chatwal was established in the sources reviewed.
His contact-book business affiliation with Hampshire Hotels & Resorts does not prove that the business supplied services to Epstein.
No verified evidence establishes that Epstein invested in Chatwal’s hotels or that Chatwal managed assets for Epstein.
Such conclusions would require specific transactional evidence.
Later Public Legal History
Independent news reporting documents an October 2016 case in New York in which Chatwal was accused of injuring two dogs using an aerosol spray and a lighter.
Subsequent reporting described a misdemeanor plea arrangement in 2017.
This legal matter is separate from Epstein’s sexual abuse and trafficking investigations.
It does not establish wrongdoing related to Epstein and should not be treated as evidence of such conduct.
Survivor Status and Criminal Allegations
No verified public survivor statement, FBI victim interview or judicial finding reviewed for this profile identifies Vikram Chatwal as an Epstein trafficking survivor.
No substantiated allegation has been established that he participated in Epstein’s trafficking activities.
The records support his identification as a contact and a person who described a social event at Maxwell’s residence.
That classification must remain separate from accusations of criminal involvement.

Contradictions and Evidence Boundaries
Contact Information Versus an Established Relationship
The contact book identifies Vikram Chatwal but does not establish the frequency or character of his communications with Epstein.
Maxwell’s Dinner Versus Epstein’s Presence
The Observer interview identifies Maxwell’s residence and Prince Andrew’s reported attendance. It does not establish that Epstein was present.
The Colombia Story
Chatwal’s interview verifies that he publicly recounted Maxwell’s claim. It does not prove the alleged rocket launch occurred.
Photographs Versus Criminal Involvement
Event photographs document encounters and settings. They do not establish knowledge of criminal activity.
Business and Family Identity
Vikram Chatwal’s conduct must be distinguished from that of his father, Sant Singh Chatwal, and from unrelated associates appearing in social reporting.
The Scope of the Epstein Data Wiki
Absence from the published Wiki people directory does not establish absence from the much larger underlying document archive.
Contact-Book Duplicates
The EFTA document and government-numbered redacted copy are related reproductions. They do not document two separate encounters.
Outstanding Investigative Questions
Who Entered Chatwal’s Information Into the Directory?
The contact-book page does not identify the person who originally created the entry or explain when it was last used.
Did Epstein and Chatwal Communicate Directly?
No verified original correspondence establishes a direct exchange between them in the reviewed material.
Did Epstein Attend Maxwell’s Dinner?
The contemporary account identifies Maxwell and Prince Andrew but does not independently establish Epstein’s attendance.
What Actually Happened During Maxwell’s Colombia Helicopter Experience?
The surviving account requires corroboration from aviation, military and witness records before its operational claims can be resolved.
Are the Nightlife Photographs Correctly Dated?
Each image requires independent provenance, event identification and, where available, original metadata.
Did Chatwal Have Financial Dealings With Epstein?
No verified original transaction was established in this research pass.
Are There Additional Original EFTA Mentions?
The identified direct source is the contact directory. Other records may exist in the wider corpus, but a complete document-by-document review of every released page has not been demonstrated.
Assessment of the Documentary Record
Vikram Chatwal is directly identified in Jeffrey Epstein’s contact directory on EFTA00191482. The scanned page has been inspected and confirms the name.
A contemporary November 2002 Observer interview independently documents Chatwal reporting attendance at a dinner in Ghislaine Maxwell’s Manhattan residence, where Prince Andrew was the guest of honor.
The interview also preserves Maxwell’s reported account of military helicopter activity in Colombia. Later photographic reporting provides context for her presence around Colombian military aviation, but does not prove that the alleged rocket launch occurred.
Bekah Day and Selma Fonseca’s September 2026 research adds photographic evidence of the wider nightlife and celebrity environment occupied by Chatwal and other people relevant to Epstein investigations.
The record therefore establishes a direct contact-book appearance and a separately reported social connection to Maxwell.
It does not establish Epstein aircraft travel, employment, financial involvement, island or ranch visits, trafficking participation or knowledge of Epstein’s criminal conduct.
The most defensible classification is a documented Epstein contact-directory entry and a figure within Maxwell’s reported social circle, with additional historical reporting and photography available for source-specific investigation.
