Susan Hamblin

Susan Hamblin

British interior designer, Epstein trust beneficiary, frequent passenger, and operational figure whose documented association must be separated from retracted allegations and online misidentification.

Snapshot

Full name: Susan Mary Hamblin
Also recorded as: Susan Hamblin, Sue Hamblin
Nationality: British
Profession: Interior designer
Documented connection: Trust beneficiary, passenger, correspondent, and provider of household, property, travel, and guest coordination for Jeffrey Epstein
Documented period: At least 2003 to 2019
Legal status: No criminal conviction connected to Epstein is established in the cited record
Important identification issue: She is not the Washington State financial adviser associated with Kids2Families
Evidence types: Flight logs, emails, trust records, banking compliance records, court documents, contact records, and congressional statements

Key Takeaways

  • Susan Mary Hamblin is a British interior designer who maintained a sustained personal and operational relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
  • Flight records place Hamblin aboard Epstein aircraft eleven times between June 2003 and December 2004. The routes connected New York, New Jersey, Palm Beach, Massachusetts, and the United States Virgin Islands.
  • A March 2011 Butterfly Trust instrument signed by Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn formally added Hamblin as a beneficiary. The document identifies Epstein as the grantor.
  • A July 2013 email contains Hamblin’s own extensive description of the work she performed. Her responsibilities included dinners, flights, ground transport, apartments, staff instruction, deliveries, furnishings, aircraft carpet, island fabrics, linens, and guest accommodations.
  • Other emails show Hamblin tracking arrivals into Palm Beach, relaying instructions involving Little Saint James, communicating with Lesley Groff and other Epstein personnel, and participating in household coordination through at least 2018.
  • A November 2014 email chain describes Hamblin’s financial dependence on Epstein. She wrote that her salary had stopped and that her food, medical care, and home were made possible by him.
  • Independent researchers attributed several redacted 2014 emails to Hamblin. One refers to Epstein’s “littlest girl.” Others contain violent sounding language about an unidentified man. The attribution and language warrant scrutiny, but the documents do not identify the girl’s age, establish what occurred, or show that the violent language described a literal plan.
  • Representative Anna Paulina Luna publicly identified Hamblin as the sender of the “littlest girl” email and asserted that Hamblin had received a plea deal and victim status. The available 2007 nonprosecution agreement does not name Hamblin, so Luna’s statement should be reported as a congressional assertion rather than an established legal fact.
  • In 2022, The Sun accepted that separate allegations accusing Hamblin of procuring and threatening a sixteen year old survivor were false. The publisher withdrew its articles, apologized, and agreed to pay substantial compensation and legal costs.
  • Social media accounts have repeatedly confused this Susan Hamblin with an older American woman connected to financial services and Kids2Families. The biographical records show that they are different people.

Overview

Susan Mary Hamblin was an interior designer whose relationship with Jeffrey Epstein extended well beyond a single design commission or social encounter.

The documentary record places her aboard Epstein aircraft, inside his trust arrangements, in communications with his assistants, and in the management of his residences, guests, transportation, furnishings, and personal requirements. Her own written account of her responsibilities describes a broad service role spanning interior design, household administration, travel logistics, staff instruction, and property maintenance.

Hamblin’s exact formal title remains unclear. The records support describing her as an Epstein associate who performed extensive operational and household work. Calling her only an interior designer understates the responsibilities described in her emails. Calling her a criminal participant would go beyond the evidence presently established.

Her position also presents a complicated question of dependency. The Butterfly Trust record named her as a beneficiary, while a later email described her salary, housing, food, and medical needs as dependent upon Epstein. Those records demonstrate a substantial power imbalance. They do not, by themselves, establish whether Hamblin experienced coercion, knowingly facilitated abuse, or occupied both dependent and operational roles at different times.

Identity Verification

The relevant individual is Susan Mary Hamblin, identified in a British High Court statement as an interior designer.

A 2017 Deutsche Bank compliance record names Susan Mary Hamblin, records her citizenship as United Kingdom, and records her country of residence as the United States. The same compliance package concerns ownership and beneficiary information connected with Epstein related financial structures. See EFTA01282143.

The 2022 Statement in Open Court likewise identifies Susan Mary Hamblin as an interior designer.

This evidence distinguishes her from Susan Hamblin Lawrence, an older Washington State financial services professional associated with Kids2Families. Records concerning Susan Hamblin Lawrence describe a marriage in 1985 and a life in the Pacific Northwest. Those facts do not match the British interior designer documented in Epstein’s records.

Claims that Epstein associate Susan Mary Hamblin founded or operated Kids2Families therefore rest on a namesake error. That error should not be repeated as fact.

Documented Epstein Connection

Flight activity

An indexed reconstruction of Epstein’s aircraft records identifies eleven flights carrying Susan Hamblin between June 29, 2003, and December 3, 2004.

The recorded flights include:

  • June 29, 2003, St. Thomas to New York
  • July 2, 2003, New York to Palm Beach
  • July 7, 2003, Palm Beach to Teterboro
  • July 11, 2003, Teterboro to Palm Beach
  • July 14, 2003, Palm Beach to Teterboro
  • August 31, 2003, Palm Beach to Teterboro
  • September 22, 2003, Palm Beach to St. Thomas
  • October 7, 2003, Bedford, Massachusetts, to Teterboro
  • November 23, 2004, Palm Beach to St. Thomas
  • November 28, 2004, St. Thomas to New York
  • December 3, 2004, New York to Palm Beach

The manifests place Hamblin with Epstein and, on different flights, Sarah Kellen, Nadia Marcinkova, Ghislaine Maxwell, Jean Luc Brunel, Andrea Mitrovich, Larry Visoski, Larry Morrison, and other passengers.

Flight 307 on November 23, 2004, spells out “Susan Hamblin” on the Palm Beach to St. Thomas passenger line. Later entries use the initials “SH.” The original manifest compilation is available through the Epstein flight logs, while the consolidated person index is available through the Susan Hamblin evidence profile.

A flight entry establishes travel. It does not establish what a passenger knew, observed, or did at a destination.

Operational responsibilities

A July 2013 email is among the clearest descriptions of Hamblin’s role. In EFTA00966048, she provides a list of matters she handled for Epstein.

The list includes:

  • Arranging dinners
  • Managing flights and other transportation
  • Looking after Jean Luc Brunel’s apartment
  • Organizing air conditioning and internet service
  • Assisting people with moves
  • Managing Federal Express deliveries and sculpture shipments
  • Obtaining carpet for Epstein’s aircraft
  • Sourcing fabrics for Little Saint James
  • Training apartment staff
  • Managing linens and towels
  • Preparing welcome letters and food for guest apartments
  • Opening trade accounts with fabric suppliers
  • Coordinating outside vendors
  • Allowing workers into Epstein’s home outside regular hours
  • Sourcing furniture for Epstein’s bedroom

The range of duties supports describing Hamblin as performing household management and personal assistant functions in addition to interior design.

Travel and guest scheduling

In EFTA02151581, dated January 7, 2013, Hamblin relays instructions from Epstein about changing arrivals. She refers to “Boris,” “the princess,” and a Delta flight into West Palm Beach. She says she is assembling a schedule to keep track of everyone’s movements.

This document shows direct participation in guest and travel administration. It does not identify the unnamed individuals fully or establish any illicit purpose for their travel.

Other records, including EFTA02140942 and EFTA02189895, place Hamblin in communications concerning accommodations, personal items, and household logistics.

Little Saint James instructions

A July 18, 2013 email in EFTA02133079 shows Hamblin communicating with Lesley Groff and Jojo Fontanilla about a device on Little Saint James.

Hamblin writes that Epstein told Julia to leave an iPod on the island and that she presumed he would use his phone. The surrounding chain concerns an iPad removed from Epstein’s bag.

The document establishes that Hamblin relayed an instruction involving an electronic device on Little Saint James. It does not reveal why Epstein wanted the device left there.

Butterfly Trust beneficiary

On March 24, 2011, Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn signed a Butterfly Trust page adding Susan Hamblin as a beneficiary. Epstein acknowledged receipt in his capacity as grantor. See EFTA01282018.

This is a formal financial connection rather than a casual contact reference. However, the page does not state:

  • Why Hamblin was added
  • What assets the trust held for her
  • Whether her interest was conditional
  • Whether she received a distribution
  • How much she may have received

Beneficiary status therefore demonstrates inclusion in an Epstein trust instrument, but it does not establish the value or purpose of any benefit.

Financial dependence

A November 2014 exchange in EFTA02341532 documents a more personal financial relationship.

Hamblin wrote that a British card was blocked, her Chase account contained no money because her salary had stopped, and she had been left outside in the rain without funds. The chain also contains her statement that her food, medical needs, and home were made possible by Epstein.

This is unusually direct evidence of financial dependence. The email does not define whether the money was formally salary, an allowance, reimbursement, housing support, or a combination of arrangements.

Continued household communications

A February 14, 2018 exchange in EFTA00469507 includes Hamblin, Karyna Shuliak, and Lesley Groff in a discussion about a hair and makeup treatment described as a Valentine’s Day gift from Epstein.

A separate April 12, 2019 message in EFTA02296930 records Hamblin sending material concerning a Vogue office and models’ dressing room to an Epstein associated address.

These records extend her documented correspondence with Epstein’s circle into the final years before his 2019 arrest.

Evidence Appearances

“Your littlest girl” email

A March 2014 email preserved in EFTA00705860 thanks Epstein for a “fun night” and refers to his “littlest girl” as having been “a little naughty.”

Public versions displayed a redacted sender. Independent researcher Donny Evans attributed the message to Hamblin through comparison with other emails and source confirmation. Representative Anna Paulina Luna later publicly identified Hamblin as its sender.

The language is disturbing in the context of Epstein’s established sexual abuse of minors. Nevertheless, the document alone does not identify the person described as the “littlest girl,” state her age, or explain what occurred during the referenced night. The sender attribution should be presented as strongly reported and publicly asserted, not as a conclusion proved solely by the redacted page.

Related versions and redaction comparisons have been identified in EFTA02394816, EFTA02717423, and EFTA01930501.

Violent sounding correspondence

A June 30, 2014 chain in EFTA00653976 contains a message giving Epstein “permission” to kill an unidentified man and accusing that man of lying to both correspondents. Epstein answered with “whoops.”

A related message in EFTA01922394 discusses “burying” the unidentified man in his own nonsense and killing him “slowly and painfully.”

Evans attributed these emails to Hamblin through visible remnants beneath the redaction, comparison with known messages, and source confirmation. The writing suggests intense personal loyalty to Epstein and hostility toward someone believed to have lied to him.

The documents do not identify the target or establish preparations for actual violence. The language may have been figurative. It should not be converted into an unsupported homicide allegation.

Contact and database appearances

The Epstein Data entity index returns dozens of records under Susan Hamblin, while separate files use Sue Hamblin. These appearances include email chains, travel records, trust material, household communications, and financial documentation.

Database totals can change when duplicate files are merged or new releases are indexed. Individual source documents are more probative than a raw mention count.

Black book listing

Hamblin is indexed as appearing in Epstein contact records. A contact book appearance establishes that her name was maintained within Epstein’s records. Her flights, emails, and trust documentation provide substantially stronger evidence of the relationship than the address book entry alone.

Legal Status and Evidence Limits

Susan Hamblin has not been convicted of an Epstein related crime in the cited public record.

The 2007 federal nonprosecution agreement covered Epstein, four named potential coconspirators, and other unspecified potential coconspirators within the Southern District of Florida matter. The four named women were Sarah Kellen, Adriana Ross, Lesley Groff, and Nadia Marcinkova. Hamblin was not named in that list.

Representative Luna asserted in February 2026 that Hamblin had taken a plea deal and received victim status. That statement is important because it came from a member of Congress. It does not substitute for the underlying agreement, designation, or investigative record. The publicly available Epstein nonprosecution agreement does not show Hamblin personally negotiating or signing a plea deal.

The “littlest girl” email requires similar precision. Its language merits investigation, especially given Epstein’s known crimes. It does not, without additional evidence, establish the age of the referenced person, what the sender observed, or whether the sender facilitated abuse.

Hamblin’s operational emails establish that she performed extensive work for Epstein. Her trust and support records establish financial ties and dependence. Her flights establish repeated travel. None of those evidence categories alone proves participation in sexual abuse or trafficking.

The 2022 High Court resolution must also be preserved accurately. The Sun accepted that its specific allegations concerning Hamblin and a sixteen year old survivor were false. According to the joint statement:

  • Hamblin had never met the young woman.
  • She had not groomed or procured her for Epstein.
  • She had not ignored the survivor’s cries.
  • She had not paid the survivor after an assault.
  • She had not threatened the survivor or her family.

The correction applies to those particular allegations. It does not erase Hamblin’s separately documented travel, employment style duties, communications, trust interest, or financial relationship with Epstein.

Sleuth and Independent Reporting

Donny Evans examined several partially redacted 2014 emails. He compared visible letter fragments with Hamblin’s name, matched the messages against unredacted correspondence, and reported source confirmation of the attribution. His work also highlighted EFTA00966048, in which Hamblin describes responsibilities extending far beyond conventional interior design.

Ellie Leonard placed Hamblin within the broader history of Epstein connected apartments at 301 East 66th Street. Leonard also acknowledged Hamblin’s successful action against The Sun. Her account is useful for understanding the residential and operational environment, although individual claims should be checked against court and property records.

Aaron Parnas reported Representative Luna’s identification of Hamblin as the sender of the “littlest girl” email. Parnas repeated Luna’s claim about a plea deal and victim status. That portion should remain attributed to Luna pending production of the underlying legal record.

EpsteinGate assembled a focused investigation connecting the Butterfly Trust document, the Palm Beach scheduling email, the Little Saint James device instruction, the 2014 financial support exchange, and the 2018 household correspondence.

Epstein Exposed indexed Hamblin’s flights, document appearances, and shared passengers. Its structured data provides a useful discovery tool, but claims should be checked against the underlying manifests and EFTA records.

These investigations materially expand the picture of Hamblin from interior designer to a person who performed recurring operational work inside Epstein’s household and property system. They also show why allegations must remain separated from established documentary facts.
